Only Cakey! And he gets picked on mercilessly for it!

I want to know who picked Selling Out!

Who could ever pick a Bebe episode as the worst of the season? Even The Devil and Dr. Phil gets points because of the sheer genius that is Bebe! (although she can't save Jr. Agent but I don't consider that a real Bebe episode!)

"Dumm da dummm da dummm da dummmm....well some boys go to college, but we think they're all wussies...while they get all the knowledge, we get all the..dumm da dummm da dummm da dummmm"

That bit alone makes Author Author a gem for me!

For me, it's Frasier lying across the bed pouring the whiskey (or whatever it is) from the mini bar down his throat and this exchange:

Frasier: Niles, I just had an epiphany
Niles: Oh wonderful! We could use a second sentence.
Frasier: No, it's not for the book. I just realized why so many writers become bloated alcoholic suicides!

And of course the famous "You stole my mommy!" line.

Author, Author is top-5 material for me. It should be a sacred cow, up there with Ham Radio, not facing detractors here there and everywhere! :D

Ham Radio is wonderful and should never even grace the same sentence as Author Author! :P

Yes, i agree. Both are good, but Author, Author is top 20 material for me, while Ham Radio just isn't.

I think I'd actually go as far to say that I don't like Ham Radio anymore. It just doesn't have the same effect on repeat viewings IMO. For example, the cheesy organ music was funny because it was so cheesy, but when I see it now, I think it's just cheesy for all the wrong reasons (if that makes sense...). I much prefer Author Author as an episode to watch multiple times, altough I admit Ham Radio was the better on first viewing.

I agree - Ham Radio is one of the episodes I like least. I think I've just seen it too many times. Don't get me wrong, i still like it, so far there are no episodes I dislike.

I still love the bit where Daphne says "sound of people changing Wangs to Wings" though, makes me laugh every time.

I went with 'Can't Buy Me Love'. The kid really annoys me and I just find it quite a boring episode. Drunk!Daphne and Pitbull is funny when you first see it but not so much after that.

Apparently, DHP came up with that.

You really gotta wonder where someone would pluck something like that out of thin air.

Well, 'Fortysomething' is a horrendous episode, but for me the worst episode of the 'classic' era is 'Author, Author'. An out-of-character shambles of an episode, where the comedy comes completely from the character's insulting one another and acting like idiots. What a mess!
