I am the brother who's 16, and I love the show as well... So I put 13-18. But I guess it doesn't have any age. Anybody can have a laugh of it... One of my teachers who's in the 20's and my dad in his 40's... They find it funny too... Such an amazing show, and therefore ageless.

My name is Thomas, which I'd rather like my username changed to. Perhaps I should discuss that with an administrator...

my 16 year old brother doesn't like frasier tho, he's a loser lol he likes world of warcraft!! and family guy and... dragonforce HAHA!!

First of all, Nicholas didn't say I don't like Frasier.

Calling him a loser is a bit mean, but I still can't understand people who donate their lives to a computer screen with small weird dots running around shouting noises to nowhere... But what the hell.

Family Guy... What? I'm sorry if I harm someone here, but my opinion about that show is that it's just a Simpsons knock-off with a little stupider taste. But still it could be worse... Talking "American Dad", nudge nudge.

Oops, I voted for the age range I was in, not the one I think Frasier watchers are in. No matter. Frasier is for young and old! I don't think the humour is too sophisticated for younger people. Probably 11 and up. I know I liked Friends a lot when I was 11.

Why would 17% of us think the main demo for Frasier fans is 13-18 years old?
What fresh hell is this?

Funnily enough, when I first heard the opening music for Frasier, I thought how "old people" it sounded. While the opening music IS good smooth jazz riffs, those vibes make it sound o-l-d, at least to me. I voted 40 and up, mainly because of that music. That music is what caused me to not watch a single ep. of the show until the 7th season!

It was around the 7th season that I stopped watching on a regular basis.

But, I was a huge Cheers fan and have been in love with Kelsey since his very beginning days on Cheers so wild horses couldn't have kept me away from Frasier. Around the last few seasons though, I started to drift though. I'm not sure why and I have most definitely drifted back!

Tell you what. I sure hate any poll that has MY age as the last category...40 and up. Wow. I guess that IS me!

I know that the poll is about the age range of Frasier watching, rather than about the age of us forum users, but I wonder perhaps if our own ages have influenced the age range we picked?

In general, I think this is quite a 'young' forum, at 29, I suppose I class as being in the older half of posters!  However, I know loads of older people who love Frasier but wouldn't register here. My dad, for instance, he's 63 but if I mentioned a web forum for Frasier, he'd look at me as if I was speaking some weird foreign language!

What I'm saying is, I think in general young people are more likely to become involved in things like this. I know there are older people who use the Internet all the time (I'm not referring to anyone here btw, I mean 'elderly' people - i.e. pensioners - in general, rather than just anyone above 30!), but it is definitely more common among young folk.

Does that make any sense whatsoever? I completely lost the thread of what I was saying there!

DG, I think you're absolutely spot-on. This forum is not representative of Frasier fans in general, I'm sure!

I'll turn 14 tomorrow, and thanks to my constant internet usage, I think that I get most of the jokes on Frasier. I don't know about other people my age though. Because whenever I've brought up Frasier at school, people say that it's just some crappy show about an old, bald man.
