Battle of the Seasons - Episode 20

I have to confess that I'm pretty happy with the way these polls seem to be going, so I thought I'd go on right ahead and start off the next one. I think we got 22 votes for one of them - which is a personal record for me!

You know the drill by now - vote for your favourite 20th episode from the eleven seasons.

The poll will remain open for a week.

Happy voting!

Once again, Three Dates and a Breakup is separated into two parts, in order to make the 24-episode per season format work properly for these polls. Anyway, bear in mind, should you vote for this episode, that you are voting for the second half, featuring the breakup between Martin and Sherry.

Anyway, these polls certainly don't get any easier, do they? Some good ones here - 'Breaking the Ice', 'First Date', 'Dr. Nora', 'To Thine Old Self be True', 'And Frasier Makes Three' and I have to confess that I've even got a soft spot for the Season 10 candidate. However, much as I love the tender moment between Niles and Daphne in the S5 option, and the chaotic laugh fest that is 'Dr. Nora', the second half of 'Three Dates and a Breakup' wins it for me. A masterpiece of comedy IMO, with some really lovely, clever touches.

Three Dates and a Break-Up for me!

Close were First Date because of the kitchen scene and And Frasier Makes Three. And Frasier Makes Three is probably my favorite S11 episode with the exception of Goodnight, Seattle. I think it has jumped over Caught In the Act and High Holidays just because of the sentiment in it. CITA and HH are great for laughs but AFMT is a very sweet episode and it gives me gentle, tender Frasier which I really enjoy.

That being said............Three Dates and a Break-Up has my second favorite Frasier/Martin moment so I had to go with that.
This is the STUPIDEST day I've ever had!

None jumped clear but I voted for Breaking The Ice.

Quite enjoyable.

'Breaking the Ice', which is one of those episodes which makes me realise why I treasure this show so much! It's just three men sitting in a hut talking, but every line is wonderful and there's so much warmth in it (ironically!).

I really should have voted for ''Give Him The Chair'' in the previous poll because ''Three Dates...'' is the clear winner in this poll.

Yeah, I know we rate both those eps pretty similarly which is why I'm glad I split my votes.

Definitely Three Dates for me, Breaking The Ice leaves me a little, ahem, cold.

No votes for First Date yet? Please, someone, remedy that immediately!

I'm surprised how close Breaking The Ice and the superior 2nd half to Three Dates are! If the latter doesn't win this poll, I'll be amazed.

There's no need for sarcasm. I think it's nice.

I liked the Andy one with the red shirt. Is there any particular reason for changing to that one? I don't recall it being an anniversary?

After talking about Maurice, I've begun to keep dwelling on him and his death. I don't intend to keep it for a long time - but when I start thinking about someone who's dead, I like to do something for them - honour them, if you will.

I just wondered if you've ever had an avatar of someone that's still alive.

What's wrong with having dead people?

Besides, most of the people I like are dead.

I refer to you an episode of The Office called ''Christmas Party,'' Toby gets Angela a poster of babies dressed as adults and it wierds everybody out. It's wierd having an avatar of babies, it really is.
