How can your Dad hate it if he's never seen it?
You're going to have to make him watch it sometime, Ben.

I'd be really uncomfortable watching the likes of Beloved Aunt and Krazee-Eyes Killah with the 'rents!

My parents are generally pretty open-minded with sitcom, but if they walk in my room with The Shield or 24 on or something, they can't stand it and walk straight out. I suppose they don't like violence...
I'm a bit confused here because you said in the Torchwood thread that you were uncomfortable watching it with your parents? Was it just the sex scenes in ep2?
Surely Torchwood is much tamer than CYE...

I watched CYE with my mum and step-dad, who are very open minded and almost encourage 'adult' television.
I watched that 'Torchwood' episode with my Dad, which is different, because we have completely different tastes in television. He was just watching the show too be annoying - so the sexual content didn't really help. I don't want to give you the wrong impression about my Dad though - we get on fine.

You nearly came? Damn, I love HBO. I've been watching Carnivale and for about 6 episodes they hinted at a lesbian relationship... I'd say the fruits of my labour was well worth the effort, but that would be too on the nose.

I do too, JT! In fact I watch Frasier repeats endlessly!

Breaking The Ice.
Or something like that. I don't know all the titles. The one where they're fishing in the log cabin on the frozen lake.
