Are you allowed/willing to say what 'magick spell' was successfully performed? :D

Yes! It was called the "Best Buddy Spell".

Care to elaborate? No need to name names, Just the general gist of the spell.

The BBC site has a fun little section to mark the impending arrival of the 7 billionth human to our planet:

By sticking in my date of birth, they estimate: "When you were born, you were the 3,953,139,066th person alive on Earth & 78,247,015,360th person to have lived since history began."

Not sure how accurate they can ever really be, but there you go.

I stuck my date of birth in - When you were born, you were the 4,615,355,143rd person alive on Earth & 79,302,471,475th person to have lived since history began. :?:

That's a weird formulation. What they mean is that when you were born the world population was 4,615,355,143.

The way they say it seems kinda geeky.

:D It sure is. I guess you have to be geeky to even set up something like that page. You're right enough, though. The first figure is your rough place in the total Earth population as it stood on the day you were born.

Pointless but mildy interesting, i thought.

It included an altar, a pack of playing cards, a photo of the friend in question and an incantation.

In other supernatural news, yesterday I heard my cat jump onto the chair opposite me. (She passed away two years ago.) I distinctly heard the sound and my first thought was that our neighbour's cat had got into the house (it had been in our back garden and our back door was open) but when I got up to look, there was nothing visibly there. Then I went outside and the neighbour's cat was right there, where it had been.

But I know what I heard. It's happened before; a few days after she passed away I heard her jump off my bed. I think these are her ways of letting me know she's still around.

It's hot all right but it's a great opportunity to lose some extra-weight and convert it into muscle mass... I also like to swim in the afternoons. I just love summer. :D

Hey peeps. I haven't posted since February... blimey.

How's things?

My life's been pretty busy. I'm working for three different Assessment Centres now, so alternating my time between Exeter, Bournemouth and (less so now) Swansea. Things are ticking along nicely family-wise. Happy with my fella Ian. Still in touch with my ex's family quite a bit as obviously they're Keren's relations. Went to Proms in the Park with them on Saturday, actually. :)

So - what have you all been up to? Any news?

Pretty much same old same old for me, with the addition of getting back into mountain biking.

You still taking photographs?

Ta Ben.

MC - not taking as many photos now. I don't seem to have the time! Plus my passion for it's gone a bit, unfortunately. Cool that you're back into biking. Great exercise, a good stress reliever and you get to see some lovely countryside too. :)

Nice to see a post from you! I have you as a Facebook friend of course but that's just not that same  Really glad that things are going well.

Choni and I are in the process of buying a house right now, thus far things are going well this time around, but we had a bad experience back in June involving a house whose owner didn't actually own his own back garden.. *facepalm* Other than that not too much to report - same job, same Choni! I tend to socialise a tad more than I used to which leaves a liiiitle less time for TV and movies.. but not that much less time, heh.

Heh, that's crazy! I remember there was some issue with a row of houses in Swansea, when the county boundaries were changed. The houses were in Swansea, the gardens were in Neath Port Talbot.

Brill that you're still with Choni... and 'socialise'... I seem to remember having heard that word somewhere before, possibly something I used to do prior to becoming a parent?

Here's a picture of the sigil I drew to avoid aggressive military action from Western nations in the Syrian civil war. (Sigils are a form of magick.)

I incorporated the sigil into the form of a large peace sign and charged it up with my thoughts/mental energy.
