That's really cool actually, Woggle!

I'd feel the need to borrow some pink, frilly Barbie clothes and dress it in those, though, just to see how it looked.

A jewellery-making kit, going to try to make some pendants and ear rings out of my seaglass.

Seems alright like. Got good reports from the guys in cycle shops, and it looks better gear/spec than the equivalent Trek for the money. Once i'd seen it in the Specialized store in Covent Garden i got one ordered and should be going in at the weekend to have it set up.

I've never owned a mountain bike. I was always a BMXer, too.

Bah. Went in to collect the bike and have it set up tonight. Frame was damaged and the handle grips were different (non-Specialized, non-ergonomic ones). I was told this would be a full build job from brand new unused parts but there's no way this wasn't just a pre-built bike - probably on display somewhere else. They only offered to knock £30 off and wouldn't change the grips to the ones i expected, so had to leave it.

This wasn't a Specialized shop but they are a decent local specialist bike shop i was buying from, so a bit disappointing. Looks like i'll have to go direct to Specialized to get what i expected. Going to be another couple of weeks now, i suppose.

Agreed - now you'll probably get spam mail from them and their affilates forever, too - even if you unsubscribe. :(

All ticket agents, and their websites, are a pain. There's zero way around using them for stuff like that nowadays, as far as i can see?

A pair of these Blowfish boots:

They have more of a heel than I'm used to, so I expect I'll have lots of silly accidents, but at least I can see what it's like to be taller than 5ft3 for a change. :D

This is also true, Ents24 IMO are the worst, something from them almost everyday, and I get tour dates for each artist at every venue I've been to so end up getting about 4 different e-mails for one artist.
