All time favourite Frasier

Postby DHPfan » Sun Jul 31, 2011 2:52 pm

The toughest question ever: What is you favourite Frasier episode? Why does that episode have a a special place in your heart? :) For me, the best episode has to be the Two Mrs Cranes. It was simply hilarious! :) Martin: I remember the first time I drove a moon-crane. Damn near rolled it right into the sea of tranquility! :) And of course, Niles' expression throughout the episode, especially when he says 'Can you stay for dinner?' :) Of course, there are many many Frasier classic eps, like Three Valentines, Out with Dad, SBSB.. But I thought this was really great :)
Niles: As some illustrious person once said, popularity is the hallmark of mediocrity.

The Adventures of Bad Boy and Dirty Girl

Though there are quite a few that rank right up there. Frasier Crane's Day Off is close to the top.

Currently 'Shrink Rap'. Can rotate between that, 'My Coffee With Niles', 'Dad Loves Sherry...' and 'Three Dates...'

At the moment it has to be 'An Affair To Forget'.

Such a brilliantly directed scene with Frasier, Niles, Marta and Gunnar!

My favorite scene....

Niles: Well, then what's a frigate?
Martin: That's when you just don't give a damn anymore!

Travels with Martin :D

This had me laughing througout. My two favourite characters (Niles & Daphne) have some brilliant moments such as:

Niles: Frasier you're my brother, that entitles you to my liver and one of my kidneys, but this is an imposition.

Niles: This is my final word; I'm not going.
Martin: Hey good news, Daphne's coming.
Niles: And so am I!

Daphne: Bloody right, it beats having me bum bounced back across the pond. Lets give it a bash.

Daphne: (American accent) Sure

Niles: Fun

Niles with his hand on his forehead rocking backwards and forewards.

And my top moment is Daphne's scream as she realises she is in Canada; perfect timing, loved her facial expression.

This is also John Mahoneys favourite episode :D

"Bla-Z-Boy". It has so many subplots, and is just funny all the way through.
Another favourite is "My Coffee With Niles".

On YouTube you can see the actors' favourites. Let's see...
Leeves: Moondance (big surprise)
Mahoney: Travels with Martin (bigger surprise)
Grammer: Episodes focused on his female conquests (ha!)
Hyde Pierce: Episodes focused on his relationship with Daphne (ha ha!)
Gilpin: Ditto (say what?)
"Sherry, Niles?"

I am not surprised, these are the ones where his acting abilities are put to the test, the most. But he never totally mastered giving a passionate kiss though.

I've watched some sort of special (could have been Analyzing the Laughter) where Peri says her favourite episode is The Kid because there's so much of her in it :).

It is funny how the episodes actors like the best always seem to be the ones that revolve around their own character.
