Have you noticed out new 'most users online' figure Wezzo?

Just to give you an idea, the previous record was 80 users online...

Of course, plenty of those will be spambots, but not all of them.

Shit! No I hadn't, impressive..

Search engine crawlers are regular guest vistors too, a lot of the IP addresses often trace back to Google and the like

Still the increase was still a surprise when BN pointed out to me.

Ah yes, I've noticed plenty from Google and Yahoo! Still that can't account for 187 visitors online at once, surely?

No you're right it wouldn't, I think it would be more likely to be a sustained attack of some kind, or just an unlucky coincidence of a multitude of spambots

I prefer to think of 187 guests reading all the forum posts and episode capsules!

I thought this forum just attracted a lot of curious guests!

We're not as popular as I thought, then.

We are *quite* popular though, BGF.

I don't know if you've noticed but we're aout to surpass the 100,000 post mark which is quite a milestone. It's even more impressive when you consider Stu started a thread celebrating us reaching the 40,000 post mark on August 29th last year!

In short, this site is more popular than it's ever been in it's 8 year history! :happy3:

When did its popularity start to surge? Could it have been when I joined! :D

I'm not exactly sure, although the Sex Thread you started may have helped a bit.

It's no use, BN, everyone knows you were behind it.

Just use your powers for good and not evil.

I don't mind having my name associated with it now. In the beginning I didn't want people to think I was some debauched sex maniac. The cat's out of the bag now!

I can take ownership of it if you like, but I thought you rather enjoyed the attention?

Well, I hope my girl doesn't, but I don't mind so much if my boy does. A bit sexist I know, but them's the rules!

The username 'Daphne' was (what a surprise) already taken... probably by someone who's real name isn't even Daphne. It's a shaaaaaaaaaaaaame! :D

Starting to regret using my real last name in my username, since it's sometimes made me hesitant to express certain opinions which I might express anonymously.
