Niles' delightful party game!!

Postby ck_psy » Sun Jul 19, 2009 7:36 am

it's a hoot.
If you were stranded on a desert island with one meal, one aria, and one bottle of wine, what would they be?

btw: The Coulibiliac of salmon at Guy Savoy, “Vissi d’Arte” from
Tosca, and the [Coutre Roune Château] Neuf du Pape '47 is already taken!!

Let me adjust this a tad to one meal, one song in general, and one drink....

A bowl of pasta, February Song by Josh Groban, and water.

Good plan. Meal - an Indian takeaway - onion bhajis, chicken tikka kashmiri, mushroom pilau and keema naan, to be precise! Song - that's a toughie. At the moment, 'Come Undone' by Robbie Williams. Drink - a neverending vat of Diet Coke! If we're talking alcohol though, Bacardi Twist mango flavour. Gets you falling-over drunk in a few shots.
I know they're only moments... but that's all life is - just a bunch of moments. Molly, in 'Life Stinks'

Meal: Rare Chateaubriand with a béarnaise sauce and french beans
Aria: O Mio Babbino Caro from Gianni Schicchi
Wine: A 1961 Pétrus (double Magnum - well, it does have to last!!)
I've got a fake laugh with your name written all over it.

Meal : Rasberries (I know it's not really a meal, but I can't live without those!)
Aria : An Island In The Darkness / Tony Banks (I know it's not really an aria, but it's 17 minutes long, and it fits to well with the game!)
Wine : Bloody Ceasar (I know it's not a wine, but I don't drink wine!)

So I guess I'm not really playing the game, but it was still fun to do!

Area : It must be forest without animals in it
Wine: Water is enough because I hate drinking wine.

What a coincidence! "Forest without Animals in It" is my favorite aria too! I particularly enjoy the Renee Fleming recording.
