Hmm

winding my brother up about a hickey

and foolishly, a construction company name "Gaywood."

I'm all over the place today.

He's trying to avoid the subject. I can be merciless.

Bought Keren her bridesmaid shoes today (for her Aunt's wedding next weekend). She was delighted when I tried them on her, she kept chuckling and touching them.

Woke up this morning and when I looked outside, saw that it had snowed quite a bit during the night, about 15 cm, I guess. I'm going to take a long walk through the snow later :D

The thing tht made me smile to day was a service user and I messing around at the end of the shift this morning, we were pulling faces at people and I was just trying to cheer her up, and when I told her I would take her to bed tonight she said how good that was, as I always make her smile, which made me smile! :D :D

One thing that made me laugh out loud earlier this week was a trailer for the Cutting Edge documentary show about Special Needs Pets.

The last scene of the trailer featured this dog in some sort of contraption to allow it to 'walk' around using it's front legs to pull along the back legs in a type of framed wheel thing. Anyway, they're talking to the pet owner in her garden when suddenly she asks them to stop shooting while she has to go and do something. She then walks over to her dog, upturned in the flower bed, legs dangling in the air and unable to get the right way up. The comic timing in the editing of the segment was perfection. I can't do it justice in words - there must be a link to the trailer online somewhere. Funniest thing i've seen on television for ages. Some other Brits must have seen it? Probably better than the actual show turned out to be, i imagine.

(Before any mental pet lovers get all up in arms, the dog wasn't hurt)

We haven't had any measurable snow yet but it was 10 flipping degrees last night.

I'm sure by about January, I'll have had snow up to my eyeballs. I'll gladly send you both a few feet! :D

Though again a day spent mainly brooding there was maybe two moments.

1) walking out the door wrapping my scarf around my neck letting the cold work...then muttering, "Colder than Siberia my ass!"

News reports stated we're meant to be getting an ARTIC SNAP! (that's how it looked, minus the exclamation, on BBC weather charts all week)

2) Remembering that I had a BSG dream, more of an embarassed smile because it seems so vivid, and oh, did I mention, it was a bloody BSG dream.

I don't think I'll sleep tonight.

Thus far, I have smiled twice and cried once..

Smiled when I remembered the dream I had about a butterfly fluttering about in my room, and I smiled when my dog woke me up this morning. :)

I cried watching a tearjerker movie with Richard Thomas and Maureen O'Hara. John Boy never fails to tug at my heartstrings!

My dog is so wonderful :)

She came over to me with her back-end facing me (I'm in my chair in my room), and started wagging her tail. That is code for.. 'please rub me.' So as soon as I started rubbing her, she turned around to face me, tail still wagging furiously.

She then gave me a sideways glance with the whites of her eyes showing, and toodled away, as my mom comes dashing in.. 'Where did she go?!' I point saying, 'That way!'

Aw, this thread is a brilliant idea :)

What made me smile today:

Waking up with my boyfriend to find it had snowed even more over night and there was now five inches of snow on top of all the snow from yesterday.

A snowball fight in the street.

A lovely email from my parents :)

That was exciting!!

I met a music group called Theory of a Dead Man. They do a song called Bad Girlfriend, which is so extremely dirty, but it's a fun dance song. They were really nice guys. I got a picture with them.

Then my mom had to be embarrassing and say, 'Now use nice language.' Dear God!

But all is well, because I have their autographs (thanks to my awesome co-worker) and a picture! YAY! I'm so giddy, I feel like a groupie.
