Amazing work. That's got to be the result that proves Murray's top class ability to the casual observer. Always going to be a tough final against Federer, but he must be feeling confident.

I thought he was always confident, he seems to have an air of arrogance about him.

Good luck to him though, can't believe someone beat Nadal finally.

Yes, he seems to have that confidence/arrogance that all the best players have had. It bodes well.

It does bode well. Unfortunately he's two sets down. Can't keep track of it as I would've liked.

Three and out. This is the beginning for Murray, that's not to say Federer's over but he's further cemented his place in history. I do hope the road is up for our boy but also hope by this time next year we have more than Murray giving us something to hope for.

I think Murray will definitely have the opportunity of winning a slam in the future. Federer's still too good at the moment, but in two or three years' time Murray and Nadal will be at their peak, and we've seen Murray has the ability to put Nadal off his game. I'm not saying he'll definitely win a major, but he certainly has a chance. It probably won't be Wimbledon though.

It's amazing how Federer keeps stepping up to the plate at the US Open - he looks even more comfortable there than at Wimbledon even.

Andy Murray defeats Federer to reach Madrid Masters Final

boy done good. Shame that his brother is having a bad run therefore he's taken time out to 'work on his game'.

It's not too bad. Nadal was the favourite but fell at the previous hurdle. Even he's not indestructible.

-cough- bump -cough-

Anyway, Dementieva surprises everyone by once again failing to reach a grand slam final. One Williams sister is in the Wimbledon final.

Lord, if both of them end up in the finals, that's going to one helluva noisy match!

There'd probably be more testosterone flying around that match than in the men's final!

At least Dementieva put up a fight. That was a good game to watch. COnsidering it was expected to be a straight sets rollover, she did well to have a match point.

I don't think i'd put them as the noisiest on the circuit. There seem to be a good half a dozen or more that have made more noise than either of the sisters.

I find the Williams sisters grunting/yelling highly irritating. Granted it's not as bad as that chick from South America with her siren like "whoop" but it annoys the hell out of me and I think that shit should all be penalized. There's no reason for it.

I wouldn't trust an eBay ticket. I wouldn't even trust half the ticket agencies/websites around.
