Which Character would you play and why?

Postby ouroboros » Thu May 31, 2007 4:13 pm

Which main character would you most like to play?

I chose Daphne mainly because she's less like me than Roz so it would be more fun, I'd get to kiss David Hyde Pierce and I'd be the highest paid English Actress on TV! Also no disrespect whatsoever to Jane Leeves but the order in which I'd love to meet the actors goes DHP, KG, JM, PG, JL.

Might be an odd poll but hey there you go! Who'd you play and why?

No point pretending otherwise - Daphne, the only reason being that I would get to snog DHP! :P How shallow and predictable of me. :D

Definitley Roz!

I think Roz would be a blast to play. Plus, next to Frasier, Roz is my favorite character. And I have no desire to "snog" DHP. Much rather snog Kelsey!

BTW, snog is just about my favorite British slang word on the planet!

Same goes for me! Although it would be pretty fun playing Roz, the amount of times she gets to whack Bulldog round the head :D

Ooh, is 'snog' just a British word then? Didn't know that. What other 'British' words are there?

There are a lot of terms that are used in the UK that aren't used here in the US. Snog being one of my favs.

Until I read the Harry Potter books, I'd never heard the term snog before!

When I first came to this board, I had to enquire as to what a "chav" was.

Also not frequently used here are the terms "lift" (the elevator kind), "flat" (the apartment kind), "telly", "bloody" (as in bloody hell), "mate" (as opposed to friend or buddy)............

As Bebe isn't an option and despite the fact I am most definitely female, I voted 'Martin'. He has some of the best one-liners (my favourite saying is: "Shut your big bazoo!"), 'High Holidays' is THE best episode and would have been a riot to act in, he sits in the comfiest chair in Frasier's apartment plus he's Eddie's owner.
Oh... and my singing voice is about as good as his!!

I'm surprised more of Daphne's male fans haven't chosen to play Martin - they would get to be massaged by her on a daily basis!!

Frasier, I think.

(Martin) I know! lol

remember the episode (I think.. Here's Lookin At You) where people keep telling him to go for Irene? And to one which he responds "AHHH Go chase yourself!!"

Just they way he says it, is the best :)

Cool! My Canadian cousin hates it. She says it's like nails down a chalkboard to her. So of course I use it in front of her at every possible opportunity! :P

Mind this is the woman who told me the fact that Canadians say 'eh' all the time is a myth (till I counted the number of times she said it in our conversation and she had to retract that statement! ).

I actually get told off by my friends for using too many 'Americanisms'. I don't even know I'm doing it. But then I feel growing up on American sitcoms and spending two years in Canada will do that to you eh?

Ah yeah sorry I did think about including the regulars as I'd definitely love to play Bebe or even Lilith. But I figured I'd still probably miss out someone crucial so I went with the easy main ones instead :)

Figures :D

I would also have to go with Roz, I mean she knows how to get the guy. No, Roz is fun, not to mention she can really stick up for herself.
Wow, between school and basketball, when am I...going to be able to watch Frasier!!! Oh, don't worry I'll make time.

For me I know I'm not nearly the age but I am most suited for Martin. I dont know why...

I think I would like to play Daphne for a couple of reasons:
1. Kissing DHP!!!!!!! :o :P :!: :!:
2. I like her personality
3. Her outfits are awesome!
4. At camp once we put on a Frasier skit for the talent show and my friends told me I would be perfect for the part of Daphne!
"Is this a hold up?"
*pause*
"It's a science experiment!"
* * * *
"That's one big twinky!"

Hehe, I picked Daphne so I get to snog DHP too! Much as I'd like to be a bit slimmer though, it would just feel weird to me to be as slim as Jane Leeves, that's never going to happen!
