Yeah, thankfully that's about all we've had too. Last Christmas in Swansea our phone line was cut by someone who had a vendetta against Sky TV - they thought it was our Sky lead because it was underneath the dish. He went all down the road and cut everyone's, but he was caught pretty quickly by the police.

The people we used to live next door to though had previously lived in an area of Swansea called Ravenhill, and they'd had some things similar to those Woggle described happening, which is why they moved eventually.

Having said that though, Woggle - is it all bad, or do you actually like living where you do? Some estates can actually have great communities where people know each other well and socialise, even if the crime levels are high.

Most of the criminal activity I see is at work.

But I did have to call the police on a couple in my apartment building once several years ago. It was domestic abuse situation and she was screaming for somebody to call the police. It was 2:00AM and the screaming woke me up out of a dead sleep.

The police showed up and the guy got arrested. A few weeks later I heard the woman talking to some people out in the parking lot and she was bitching about how her husband got arrested and blah, blah, blah...like so many do in my line of work!

Then she pointed to my window and told everyone else that I was the one who called the police. This really pissed me off because the police had no reason to tell her who it was that called the police.

They got evicted a short time later!

its better at the moment as some of the bad familys have been evicted and some of the troublesome kids have grown up a bit i must say when we had lot of trouble i hated living here at one point we had death threats so i would of been happy anywhere else but there is a group of us that have known each other for years and we tend to stick together and have a good laugh....

It has it's moments. It's a lot of paperwork though.

There are plenty of perks for sure! As you can see, I'm able to play online during my work hours!

 Blimey, 28,000! Your brother-in-law must have been pretty happy about that!

My home town - nothing majorly exciting really, it's only a little place. Jonathan Ross lives down the road, but whether you'd think that was a good or a bad thing I don't know!

There's a hotel where a lot of soap stars stay in the summer, but as I don't watch any soaps I don't usually recognise them. And a few things have been filmed here in the past - an episode of Only Fools and Horses, some Two Ronnies stuff and a couple of films. A lot of Enid Blyton's books were set here too.

It's literally just up the road from Blaen-y-Maes, isn't it, which has to be the first or second worst area in Swansea! My work colleague lives there, and she frequently has cars dumped outside her house and torched. She made me laugh the other day - she said there was a car on fire really close to her fence, and she was worried that the fence was going to catch fire. Then she said 'luckily, the brakes melted and it rolled down the hill!' She didn't seem particularly concerned about the people who lived down the hill though.

I know First Cymru had to stop the buses going through Blaen-y at night too, cuz they kept getting bricks chucked through the windows.

My hometown is famous for the most important of all things......BEER!

Famous people from Milwaukee include Jane Kaczmarek (of Malcolm in the Middle and of the Frasier episodes A Police Story and Dad Loves Sherry, the Boys Just Whine), Gene Wilder, Les Paul (he's actually from Waukesha but close enough), Spencer Tracy, The Violent Femmes, Golda Meier (but not her nephew Oscar Meier!), Liberace and Jeffery Dahmer!

Chris Noth, Bradley Whitford and Chris Farley are all from Madison, WI.

John Mahoney and Kevin Costner vacation in Lake Geneva, WI which is in the county I work in.

I was thinking of Clase. I'd forgotten about Bonymaen: I had to go there for work once, to see a student, so I memorised her address as I wasn't familiar with the area. I knew all the roads I had to take and where to turn. Trouble is - when I got there, I found all the road signs had been nicked, so I didn't have a clue where I was!

 I went through Townhill in a taxi to college loads of times and once the driver said "I hope we don't have to stop for something here, the tyres might get nicked!!" :D

Russell T Davies the writer of Doctor Who is from Swansea, Catherine Zeta Jones is too. Ian Hislop is from Swansea too, and the legendary poet Dylan Thomas was born in the city. Enzo Maccarinelli is from the "notorious" Bonymaen.
