This season 3 episode comes in for a lot of stick, but I quite like it. Most of the criticism seems to centre around Bob being an annoying, unlikeable character but I think that worked really well, I could almost feel Frasier's pain during their first meeting at Nervosa!

So in keeping with these polls dou you love or hate the episode? I wouldn't go so far as to say I love it, but I certainly don't hate it as much as other people seem to.

Before you vote, remember that great visual gag of Bob's cap floating by Frasier's booth at KACL...

I voted Hate It but I don't really HATE it as much as I dislike it a lot! There are a few funny parts in it but not enough for me to watch it unless being forced!

I would rather scoop my eyes out using a rusty nail than watch it again.

I've had to vote for hate it because I do find it annoying, not Bob particularly but the whole way Bob and Frasier behave.
So normally one I skip over it.

I don't hate it - but wouldn't say love it either. It's pretty average, in comparison to the season, but I like more than dislike - so i'll have to go with 'love'.

It's coming up soon on my full season rewatch of 3 so I am being FORCED to watch it! Much like I forced myself to watch The Crucible in Season 1.

Who knows.....maybe I'll like it better on a rewatch!

Horrible episode with a terribly forced "conflict" and a script that simply does not deliver the laughs. Up there with the tripe from the later seasons.

I don't HATE it, but I do dislike it and find it tiresome so I can to vote hate over love.

As with a few people here, I certainly don't hate it but nor do I like it. So I voted for HATE!

I don't know I voted hate it, but i don't. It just wasn't very good IMO. But I can always find some funny moment in it. Like when Frasier can hear the squeak and Roz can't. Bob was really annoying.
Wow, between school and basketball, when am I...going to be able to watch Frasier!!! Oh, don't worry I'll make time.

Hate is far too strong a word in this case. Not bad, but not great, so ''love it'' for me.

Not really a fan, although I don't really 'hate it'. Still voting for that though.

Some interesting comments here, thanks to everyone who's voted so far. It looks like I'll be on the losing side for the first time here, which is no bad thing, I quite like there are certain episodes I admire that others don't.

Surprised no one's mentioned the 'table cloth' yet in the case against - that was only used to hide Bob's wheelchair and was never seen again!

I quite like episodes in which Frasier is utterly miserable and gets dumped on from a great height. I don't know what it is - I love the character - I just really enjoy seeing misfortune heaped upon his shoulders!

I wouldn't say I hate it, but dislike it a little. Not too many good points.

Just a comment on the unpopularity of 'annoying' characters. I posted elsewhere that I thought both Shelly Long's Diane and John Ratzenberger's Cliff in Cheers were good characters. It seems that most people don't like them because of their 'annoyingness'. Bob the bbq-loving friend is annoying - but it makes it funny. I think annoying characters are sometimes the strongest.
What fresh hell is this?

I see what you're saying. But I find some annoying characters likeable, and others just plain annoying! For instance, I like Lilith, although she is sarcastic, and can say some pretty mean stuff. I also liked Frank Burns in MASH, even though he had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. :)
