You're forgetting the major factor, the show had no home base, one night it could have been up against a first run of LA Law at 8:30 PM, or Hill Street Blues at 10:00 PM, or even a Newhart double at 7:30. It makes it much tougher, IMO.

I suppose that begs the question - why wasn't it picked up by a network?

Not sure, but it certainly wasn't a quality thing, shows that ran just in syndication were quite common in the 80's.

Of course, certainly a decent serial with some killer music, but no way is it better than ''All Good Things.'' I'm assuming Cakey would agree with my on this one.

I think even BA tore into Logopolis when I asked him about it as it's apparently as dull as ditchwater, and only the fact that it's Tom's final performance makes it worth viewing. I definitely saw it on broadcast but that was 1981 or something so I could probably do with a re-watch!

Yeah, I'll read the article when I get chance, I'd like to know his reasoning behind that. I haven't seen AGT either lately but I'm always reading it's a bit of a fans' favourite. If AGT was compared unfavourably to some of the best stories of TB's era like Genesis... or Pyramids... I would be less surprised.

Genesis Vs AGT is a much fairer fight, ultimately AGT is better, but I definitely rate Genesis, it might even be my favourite episode(s) of Who, maybe even stronger than ''TGITFP.''
