Don't underestimate the staying power of veteran MC players. It may be a while since i last competed, but you never really lose that ability

I think this calls for Cockfosters

Moon-Crane, you've put me back in Spoon. :(

One of you is two moves away from Mornington Crescent, and there's nothing I can do to stop you, unless the next person is nice and gets me out of Spoon?

Ahh we can't have a two player game, so I opt for the Uri Geller spoon twist and will release you with a move to

White City

I feel this may push him into a siding with my Saucer move:

Warren Street

He'll have to pull something out of his ticket machine to get out of that one!

Ah ha, in which case I head to Covent Garden, which creates a Mornington Snap, putting ice on the track for ryme-intrinseca . She will need to come up with something HOT to get out of that.

I've just come across this poor, ignored thread. Not sure if it will work without Rodge around, but at last posting I was just about to lose, can't have that! It's taken me six months to come up with this move, so it had better work!

Warren Street (Westbound)!

Oh sneaky. You tried to play the special November 27th move. I'll put a stop to that by instigating a switch to Newbury Park.

I can't take this seriously, I can't imagine why!

Erm... Finsbury Park! (double transgressive)

I think i can invoke the Reverse Bilateral Rule here and take us on an anti-clockwise cross-pendulum manoeuvre to Croxley.

This game reminds me of 'Double Cranko' in M*A*S*H (Let's flip the board to see who goes first) or 'Cups' in Friends!

Make up the rules as you go along!

Cat's obviously not seen NF Stovold’s Mornington Crescent: Rules and Origins - i'm afraid it's out of print :D

She hasn't missed much - okay, it may be comprehensive, but it's sooo boring. They've got two whole chapters just devoted to the 229B rule! I gave up after about 20 pages.

Covent Garden

Bravo. Showed your experience there.

I'll have to take a leaf out of Hooper's Mainline Variation and nudge down to Royal Oak.
