I thought that was ONLY the case if Regent's Park, was played within two goes of playing Marble Arch? I feel the Northern line is still open!

You're right, I'm sorry. Are we playing the 2005 variant? If so, we should have stated that from the beginning. I was thinking of the 221B rules.
