Yes, I did. Recall Spender do I.

Was it any good? It lasted a few years, so it couldn't have been too bad...

My memories of it are misty, but I think it was alright. Though I have seen more Auf Wiedersehen Pet than I have Spender. Do remember Jimmy Nail in Spender quite clearly.

I mentioned it on the other thread (DVD one I think?) It wasn't bad - I prefered it to Crocodile Shoes. Yeah, if you can get it free (which I'm sure you can!) then I would recommend a viewing.

Nope, can't find it. The closest I've come is an episode of The Sweeney called ''Big Spender.'' Might keep an eye out on UKTV for it.

Ah, the Sweeney. Now there's a show.

Strat, mate, you're taking the piss!

I actually thought it was a classic, sorry for the mix up.

Maybe I'm being too harsh. To me it's the drama equivalent of Last of the Summer Wine. If you consider LOTSW as a 'classic' sitcom (and many do, I expect), then ACGAS may well qualify as 'classic' British drama. They were both very comfortable Sunday evening shows; quaint and predictable.

Upstairs, Downstairs should probably be on the list too in that case. It's generally considered a classic, and rated highly by the critics.

I ended up voting for LoM. I know it's not the best show (I think Who will win anyway) and I wanted to give LoM some recognition seeing as it's currently voteless. :(

AWP is fantastic but to be honest I haven't seen it for years and years so could probably do with refreshing my memory. I watched the 2002 series on broadcast but missed the last one. The 80s series are very hazy. I need a re-watch.

Auf Pet deserves to be re-watched/watched by all.

Well done on voting for LoM, BN. I may have done so if AWP hadn't been listed.

Prisoner's down to 6% now. From what I've heard, Life On Mars is Prisoner-esque...I would go into detail but I'm sleepy
