I'm not terrified of them, and I don't mind the really small ones, but I am a bit scared of the bigger ones.

Don't see how you could be: all of them are harmless (un;ess you live in the Amazon or something and I presume most people here don't). They're more scared of you remember.

I hate friggin spiders. They give me the absolute creeps but it's not like I will run screaming from the room if I see one.

So, I'm not "terrified" of them. But, I'm a bit scared of them.

The first time I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark, I hid behind my jacket during the tarantula scene. It just creeps me out.

I would say wary, although that's my view on most kinda bugs or creepy crawly things... It's not that I'm scared of them or that I mind them being near me, I just don't like the feeling if they are walking on me!
