I can never decide: they're mostly all great films so I can't pick out a single winner: they all have their own merits and (in some) downfalls so it's only fair to award the series as a whole.

Interesting point, kinda wish I'd made that an option now. I agree, for the most part they are all decent films.

I'm a bit disappointed to only have 11 votes on this. Surely everyone has seen a Bond film at some time or another!

I don't think Goldeneye is the best Bond film by a long stretch, enjoyable though it is.

I'm expecting the next DC Bond film to kick some serious ass, especially as we've already spent a whole film being introduced to him!

Just bought Casino Royale on DVD, it's still wrapped in the cling film (sorry Strat), but I feel it may get unwrapped fairly soon. From all the rave reviews it is definitely something I'm looking forward to.

Decided to vote for Casino Royale, just for Daniel Craig's performance.

Apparently it's a direct sequel to Casino Royale, according to interviews with Daniel Craig and Martin Campbell. This is something I find interesting, as the storylines I used to enjoy best were the Connery ones where he was battling a continuous threat in the form of SPECTRE. They tried to bring that back with Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, but while he was effective enough in the former, he was a bit ridiculous in the latter.

Anyway, I too am looking to the next two films Mr Craig does, and I hope that whatever actor they use to follow him, they stick with the same style.

Agreed, it's amazing! Best film of the year for me and for a lot of other people.

I re-watched it today, and I'd give it 8/10 (when I saw it at the cinema I gave it 6/10). But Daniel Craig's performance is definitely 10/10 material.

OHMSS doing well, that is good to see.

Not a fan of Goldeneye, like my reasons for OHMSS being my favourite, I have a list of reasons for anyone who has oh, an hour.

Only my single vote for From Russia With Love? :(

And only one vote for Goldfinger??? I always thought this was seen as the definitive Bond film.

They'd probably be in most people's favourite Bond films, but Goldfinger really doesn't feature as number 1 for a lot of people I know. It's all about Casino Royale now, or Goldeneye to a lesser extent. I'd probably rate From Russia With Love as my 2nd favourite, Goldeneye 3rd, and Goldfinger and On Her Majesty's Secret Service as 4th and 5th, though I'm not sure right now which one would take which spot.
