Basically, which of the above do you like the most? Sorry if I've missed some out: just vote for other and say what it is.

I chose heavy classical because it can be powerful and amazingly descriptive.

Rock, particularly alternative rock (REM, They Might Be Giants, Barenaked Ladies, Shins) and heartland rock (Springsteen, Tom Petty).

"Rock" (Led Zeppelin etc.. but nothing too heavy, I hate all that heavy rock bollocks)

I like all music generally apart from Classical and Heavy Metal. Oh, and cheesy, poppy songs.

ahh, my musical tastes come into two categories. I love rock, but generally only classic rock (the vast majority being in the 60s-80s, so in the end I went for 60s-80s, because I find most my favorite music was made then.

I voted for 1960s-1980s (but I love 1950s music as well.)

I had to vote 'other'. Although my favourite band (The Divine Comedy) are classed as 'pop', I don't really consider them as such. They're more sort of pop-classical-rock.

So I'm just being awkward, and I tend to like music that's a bit weird.

According Real Player on my computer, 'The Dvine Comedy' are classed as 'alternate pop/ambient' music.

One of the most pressing questions on my mind for quite a while was what genre to label 'The Pop Singer's Fear of the Pollen Count' on my computer.. :)

I went with rock - I'm an 80s metal fan, coupled with being a fan of The Cure, The Doors, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Kinks and 50s and 60s Surf/Rockabilly, i guess it covers it.

I quite like film music, James Horner mostly but bits and bobs from other stuff. A swift glance at my CD's on my shelf shows the likes of Bobby Darin, Johnny Cash, Beach Boys alongside the OST's of Air Force One, Bullitt, The Prisoner and some others.

Bit of a spread.

Had to go with "Other" because my musical taste varies from classic rock to Oldies (50's and 60's) to 80's and 90's to present day Top 40 to country to movie soundtracks to Broadway cast albums. I'll even throw in the occasional Big Band or Classical once in a while.

About the only things I don't listen to are Jazz (unless I'm listening to a friend play in one of his bands), Opera and Rap.
This is the STUPIDEST day I've ever had!

I'm quite girly, but I love all kinds of rock! Especially alternative rock.
