I think it's made from peat, water (obviously) with added ingredients - like the ones used in moisturisers or bath oils - which I'd imagine does the majority of skin treatment/softening. I don't think anyone goes out with a shovel beforehand. ;)

...Just did a quick search and there are areas where they use volcanic ash or volcanic mud. I guess the ingredients depend on the part of the world you have the bath/wrap.

My Bath is too small for me! I am almost 6 foot 3 and I can't fit.

Moreover, I think that Showers are more thorough and thus, more hygenic.
Don't get me started on rationalistic pantheism or there go the whole three hours!
