Good call, I had forgotten about Bob...

Gertrude was hard to watch, but I agree she wasn't as bad as Simon.

From an American perspective I can appreciate where our fellow brits are coming from. Being from the South, I too cringe at bad southern accents, which seem to be the norm in Hollywood.

My least favorite minor character would have to be Roz’s Sister Jen Doyle, the whiniest character in the Frasier universe.

Lorna (Lana, Larna?) I'm sure the actress is OK but the part she is given is terrible.

Clare is bland too.

I have to say it... for me, it's Bebe. She just annoys the hell out of me.

For me the most annoying character has to be Gertrude, though Simon was pretty annoying too. I simply could not stand Gertrude Moon's horrible screeching nagging voice, ordering Daphne around and hating Niles :O Though I have to say, Nice Job, Millicent Martin :)

 Nanny G is awesome and Caught in the Act is one of my favorite episodes. Spongebob Hot Pants!

Gertrude Moon and Bulldog are really annoying for me!! As Cat said, I can stand Simon in small doses, not too many Simon eps in a row, though, or I might go crazy! :)

That is a brilliant episode! She is a brilliant actress, but it is your opinion, of course. :)

Laurie Metcalf cracks me up so much in that episode.

Nanette: Oh, make me a happy lady, Frasier. And then I can go on.
Frasier: For the children!

Well IMO. My personal favourite episode is Daphne's Room BTW!

I think the worst character was Gertrude or Simon...

Daphne's Room is a great episode. And I totally agree on Gertrude! We just need to do something about your dislike of Caught in the Act!

Haha... Some of it was funny but there are many better episodes. The worst ever has to be the one with the pulp fiction horror references and the Grandma in the coffin in Season 11... Motor Skills?

Grandma in the coffin is Detour. I like that one too but I'm one of a few who like that.

I got Cakey over his hatred of Author, Author so I have faith that one day you will love Caught in the Act!

I love Author, Author! My third favourite:

1 - Daphne's Room
2 - Travel's with Martin
3 - Author, Author
4 - Goodnight Seattle, Part Two

I agree that either Gerturde or Simon bugged the hell out of me. Neither were particularly amusing.

Hello.
Simon annoyed me, but did contribute to the long running history of the Moon family.

Gertrude too could be a pain, but her Halloween war with the boy (with his ending up having to see the school shrink) was a redeeming feature.

Anne, the insurance salesman was dreadful. The character was effective though.

Clive was terrible of course, but the episode a gem.

Sherry too annoyed me.

Overall I think the annoying served their purpose and I don't dislike any. I am grateful we got 11 seasons. If those characters contributed to that longevity, I don't mind.

I agree I didn't care too much for Sherry either, but Gertrude has to be my number one pick also.

I didn't care at all for Kelly Easterbrook from Frasier's Imaginary Friend, which is sort of strange since I like the actress (Sela Ward) very much in other roles.

I know I'm going to upset some, but my vote goes to Kirby.

I don't think I ever laughed once at anything he said.

In my opinion a character in one episode does not make or break a story line so mine our recurring characters.
Mine would be:
Julia Wilcox- she does nothing for the show and is in a bunch of lame episodes.
Ann Hodges- Again did nothing for the show and was in two bad episodes.
Kate Costas- Not a fan. Did not like the episoded she was in.
Gertrude Moon- Annoying but I can say some of the episodes were funny.
Mary Thomas- She was just annoying to me and the first episode was not very good. The second wasn't too bad.

Single Episode Characters to leave out-
Todd Peterson- Frasiers mentee who wanted to take Frasier national. He wasn't bad but the episode stunk. I think that Todd was supposed to be a recurring character but the character did not appeal to the audience so he never returned.
Bob- The new friend was annoying and hateful and could not see his own overbearance on Frasier.
Aunt Zora- I hated this episode for many reasons but Zora is the main reason. I also did not like that the writers changed the fact that Martin did not originally have a brother to having one with an annoying sister-in-law.
Opal- Frasier's neighbor in season 11. Nothing wrong with her perse, but the episode was sooooo bad...

Definitely Gertrude. Way outstayed her welcome.
Simon was quite enjouable, probably as he wasnt around too long. He had some great lines anout the presents he was opening and using in the camper van.

DarkVictory mentioned Bebe. I thought she was one of the best characters. Excellent over-the-top character.

I liked her eps in general. A Man, A plan And A Gal: Julia is fantastic. I liked the majority of Kate episodes, too. Both were used enough and then correctly gone.

I didn't mind that episode either. i've never heard anything to suggest he was supposed to be recurring. The episode didn't appear set up to imply that either.

Agree with the other choices, though.

Mind, I have relaxed on my initial total hatred of Gertrude.
