What's happened?

BN don't look...

Ham Radio has somehow managed to find itself 2 votes in the last 24 hours, and is now, predictably, back in first place.

Poor My Coffee with Niles... still, it was nice while it lasted. :(

It'll be interesting to keep it bumped and see what happens over the course of the year, though, if Cakey's going to leave it open.

At least dull and predictable is safe, though.

Yeah, and we should have The Godfather bumped from the top spot over at imdb too. Way too dull and predictable to have that as number 1 all the time. Oh wait... that's because it's the best. :D

We should now put Ham Radio, up against My Coffee with Niles, to see which way, those who did not vote for either (myself included), would vote. Bit like the French elections :)

 Yeah, but even so, I don't agree with wanting to knock something off the top spot just because it always seems to win. It's not the greatest reason really, especially if it's what the majority of people feel is the best anyway.

Yeah, but that's just being controversial for controversy's sake. Then you end up fat, with a beard, a baseball cap, and making documentaries that edits footage of Charlton Heston to make him sound responsible for the Columbine shootings.

It doesn;'t mean you shouldn't still question it. Things change.

But we're getting a bit serious now - it was only meant to be light-hearted.

I agree, and I hope you took my response in a light-hearted way. It was just meant as a joke.

I see what you mean, but I'd never question the Bee Gees being a very talented group. Plenty of people do, though. I've never understood - they're supposed to have one of the largest fanbases in the world - yet I never seem to meet any fans.

If that's the best reason not to challenge others' views, then i'm happy to keep dissenting. ;)

They have plenty of fans. You've probably actually met plenty without knowing it. it's not something you'd ask everybody you come into contact with, is it? Is it!!!?

I'll be honest BGF, you're the first person I've met who's claimed to be a fan of theirs. Maybe other people I know like their music, but not enough to come out and say it. I can see The Beattles, Elvis and Abba as older artists having huge fanbases though, as I know quite a few people who like their music.
