Battle of the Seasons - Episode 22

Postby Cake for Brains » Tue May 08, 2007 3:51 pm

I have to confess that I'm pretty happy with the way these polls seem to be going, so I thought I'd go on right ahead and start off the next one. I think we got 22 votes for one of them - which is a personal record for me!

You know the drill by now - vote for your favourite 22nd episode from the eleven seasons.

The poll will remain open for a week.

Happy voting!

The final stretch...

A great batch of episodes here, with one glaring exception!

'Angents in America, Part III' and 'Dark Side of the Moon' almost win it for me, but in the end I've decided to go for 'Fathers and Sons', which is in my opinion the best episode of the O'Shannon years and deserves some recongition. It's also the first Season 8-10 episode that I've given my vote too!

I'm voting for it because it's back to basics 'Frasier'. Hilarious, touching and with some superb characterisation. There's no out-of-character nonsense, no uneeded physical violence and no nasty, bitchy comments between characters to be found here!

I'm dreading the results of this poll, because I have a horrible feeling I know what will win... :(

This was a hard one for me.

So many of these episodes rank up in the top for me. Author, Author, Agents in America Part III, Frasier Loves Roz, Are You Being Served, Life of the Party, Visions of Daphne, Dark Side of the Moon and Fathers and Sons are all some of the best in my book. But, I had to go with my favorite Bebe episode.

Agents in America Part III. Frasier's look of horror when he realizes what happened and Niles reaction to it all! Classic!
This is the STUPIDEST day I've ever had!

Tough choice, ''Author, Author'' or ''Dark Side Of The Moon?''

The latter gets my vote.

Agents in America, Part III with Author, Author & Life of the Party tied second. All three notable in book for similiar and different reasons.

No, nothing against animals, love them! But, when it comes to monsters... it's a different story!

Author Author for me

I'm voting for it because it finally shows Frasier & Niles as brothers returning back to basics. Hilarious, touching and with some superb characterisation. They have put aside their usual fake polite critisism nonsense, and finally gone down the road that all brothers do, no matter how upper class they think they are and resorted to physical violence and nasty, bitchy comments. Finally it's found here!

I forget to add that "Are you Being Served?" would have gotten a vote what with the scene at the house and of course, the exploding shaving foam.

That sums it up well. I love the fact that for all of Frasier and Niles' pretensions they are, at heart, just two squabbling brothers who aren't above a bit of fighting. It makes them such rounded characters!

I went with Author, Author. I could have gone with a just about any of them especially the ones from the first three season. Just some really good episodes.
