One of my favourite Martin lines is in Bla-Z-Boy:

"Yes, I do! That was an accident! THIS is malicious!"

Am I the only person in the world who doesn't like 'High Holidays'? I think all the 'fridge pants' stuff is pretty naff, to be honest!

Well, as I said, I think it's great overall, but I never found the 'fridge pants' thing particularly hilarious, no.

I love that line. The look on Frasier's face and Niles suddenly concentrating really hard on that bottle of solvent in his hand cracks me up. Niles is such a little kid in that scene.

I like the later line: You take the one thing in this apartment I care about, set it on fire and HEAVE it out into the street!

And what he says about setting Eddie on fire and throwing him off the balcony.

Martin has a lot of good lines in Bla-Z-Boy but for me, it's Fridge Pants all the way!

Hey all

High Holidays hands down for me. Fridge pants was hysterical but his wide eyed 'Eddie?' at the TV made me spit out my beverage. Brilliant episode.

May I ask Cake for Brains is that anything to do with Eddie Izzard?

I think it's a brilliant episode, but fair enough. We don't disagree on much after all.

Fridge pants is second on the hilarity scale for me for the entire series. First is Niles in that ridiculous helmet in Frasier Grinch.

I'd be interested to know, what percentage score would everyone give 'High Holidays' if they were writing a review on the R&R system?

No, nothing to do with Eddie Izzard. Great call on voting for 'High Holidays' though, and welcome to the forum! :)

90.

The Freddy subplot sucks which is it's only downfall IMHO.

Thanks. No it's cake or death I'm thinking of.

'High holidays' a no brainer but I do love 'Ain't nobody's business if I do' and also Death becomes him for the scene at the funeral.

Loads of people seem to have issues with the Freddy Goth subplot, and I don't understand why. I think it's hilarious.

Martin: Maybe you should cut out that trip to the garlic festival

Niles: At least he's not dating outside the faith.

Niles: His little ghoul friend!

I'd probably give 'High Holidays' something like 70%. I really don't see what all the fuss is about with that one! I find it quite flat. None of the lines posted here make me laugh, for example. To me, it feels more like a season 8-10 episode.

I'm insulted - but then again you did give 'Frasier's Curse' a 95% rating!

Still, what a boring world it would be if we all had the same favourite episode.

I'll never live that down! ;) But no, I'd take 'Frasier's Curse' over 'High Holidays' any day!

I'd say around 80% - It has dropped in my estimation, of late.

And I would probably give away top secret information if you threatened me with a viewing of Frasier's Curse!

Well, maybe not VITAL information. For that you'd have to threaten Enemy at the Gate or Motor Skills but I'd give away a lot to avoid Frasier's Curse!

The only part of that episode that I really like is the end when he's singing with The Check Mates. And that's just because it's Kelsey singing!
