Battle of the Seasons - Episode 7

Postby Cake for Brains » Mon Apr 09, 2007 10:40 am

I have to confess that I'm pretty happy with the way these polls seem to be going, so I thought I'd go on right ahead and start off the next one. I think we got 16 votes for one of them - which is a personal record for me!

You know the drill by now - vote for your favourite 7th episode from the eleven seasons.

The poll will remain open for a week.

Happy voting!

A pretty good batch of episodes here in my opinion - the candidates for Seasons 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11 are all hugely enjoyable, but it boiled down to a contest between Lilith Thanksgiving, Maris Returns and How to bury a Millionaire. In the end, I decided to go for the latter - for the hilarious scenes in the Shangra-la.

I have to say, HTBAM shines like a beacon from this selection. I like most of the other eps as well, except for S1's dire Call Me Irresponsible.

Hee, maybe if I hadn't leapt on you a few seconds after posting, and actually given you a chance to vote first, eh?

Ha! You could say the same about posts I make regarding a certain other website...

I was torn between The Adventures of Bad Boy and Dirty Girl and A Lilith Thanksgiving. The former won!

However, it's a tough call. I do enjoy A Tsar is Born, The Candidate My Fair Frasier and How to Bury a Millionaire. I think it's a tough choice, but TAOBBADG is, in my opinion, the best here.

 That is a funny episode though. I think it's fairly underrated. Just the look on Frasier's face alone when Patterson starts telling him about being abducted by aliens is enough to make the episode for me!

Really, it was a tough choice between My Fair Frasier and The New Friend!

Oh wait.......this is a BEST episode poll!

I see we have a big 'nose' again, but at least we are showing signs of a 'semi' on this poll - small feet again :D

That would be How To Bury a Millionaire. It should be a full 'stork-on' as far as I'm concerned!

I'm always a fan of Bla-Z-Boy, and i also like HTBAM and TAOBBADG a lot... but i'm going to give my vote to A Tsar is Born this time around.

Decent set of eps there. The only one I don't care much for would be My Fair Frasier, really.

I missed Bla-Z-Boy! That's my favourite S9 episode, but I still prefer HTBAM overall.

'Bad Boy and Dirty Girl'. Closely followed by 'HTBAM', but the rest of the episodes on that list aren't favourites of mine at all.
