I just thought this would be a cool poll to find out what people think the typical age range of people who watch frasier is, and also if you have an idea of what the range should be!!

I think it's 30 and up because of the adult humor! Some younger kids would not understand it.

PS. to actingluvr94(my sister): did you see the apology?

She could hardly miss it. ;)

And to answer the question, it probably is/was 30+ as the show doesn't tend to appeal to those younger.

I did see the apology!

And, I think it's 11 and up! Some kids apreciate the adult humor!

I'm 14 but a lot of my friends say I know too much for my age and that I'm quite dirty minded, so I understand pretty much all of the humor!

I'm confused as to which one to vote for, there's several overlaps.

I actually think it should be somewhere around 15 and up. So, I voted for 29 and up because there was nothing else to vote for.

I voted for 11 and up. There would be some younger people who would enjoy it, I imagine.

I'm pretty sure I would have watched it when I was 11 but I was a pretty smart kid. Well, my humor has always been kind of sophisticated (and yet raunchy when called for!). But I don't think most 11 year olds would enjoy the high brow humor.

Yes, I think most wouldn't be interested - but a small percentage might be.

about 13 and up, when you become a teenager your mind starts to mature, and that's probably the time when you would start to understand most 'older' jokes.

I'd have to agree with you Pisa, but wouldn't tell younger viewers to avoid it like I would with Friends (the sexual content there is much more explicit)

Yeah,I agree. I watched that for a while, but i wouldn't recommend it for young audiences. My parents made me stop watching because I was a little too young! Then I discovered Frasier!!

I think there's an issue of suitability over appeal. Generally, I'd say the content is fine for 12+ - but how many 12 year olds would want to watch it? I'm sure I recall Frasier's demographics being far more heavily weighted towards the middle-aged range.

A lot of the jokes in Frasier did go over my head when I was about 11, but watching more and more of it, I started to get them - now, I get pretty much all of them!

My brother's 12 and he hates it (prefers Friends: the usual) but he certainly gets the jokes.

It's surprising how many kids between 11-13 get most jokes in programmes like this.

Blame it on modern society (well, that's what much older people do (70+))

Yep. I personally blame my dirty mind on my secondary school - but that's just me!

Lol! I was quite sweet and innocent (so I was told!) when I was at primary school but since I started secondary, I've been told my my friends that I have the dirtiest mind out of all of them!

a weird set of choices, but i'll go for 11 and up - i'm guessing '29 and up' is supposed to be '20 and up'?

I know plenty of teens watching the show - and i think i was 20 when it started, and i would have watched it when i was younger - if it had been around :)

Isn't it something like the 18-49 demographic that most US shows aim to capture?

Yeah, the "A18-49" is what most shows are after.
