I got hooked when mum bought the 5th season on dvd in 2005, i actually wanted to get a season of Monk but after i'd watched Frasier was hooked, i was only 11, now i'm 13 and at school, whenever someone says something that reminds me the slightest bit of an episode, i give a little chuckle and remark "That reminds me of an episode of Frasier.." then they all groan and whoever's up for it proceeds in listening to my reccolection of the episode. :D

Actually I watched Cheers when I was really little because my Dad would watch it pretty often, but I was so young I barely remembered at all. Oh I remember watching The Show Where Diane Come Back, but I didn't even realise that till about a year ago, I was probably 4 when I saw it. Anyways, I really started watching it summer before last, wish I'd started watching it sooner.
Wow, between school and basketball, when am I...going to be able to watch Frasier!!! Oh, don't worry I'll make time.

Okay, do you know how much that reminds me of my days at school? Wow, my friends will say something and just about anything they say I can relate to Frasier or Cheers and then they groan. Haha. :D

Cheers is brilliant, like a fine wine perfecting with age. In my opinion it got better season by season. Frasier Crane was a brilliant contribution and without it, there'd have been no Frasier of course.

I don't remember my first episode, because that was probably when I didn't really "watch" it, but just saw it because there was nothing else on. I first started watching it in january this year. Before that I never thought I would ever start seeing it. But because my big brother was watching it, I also watched it a bit and after a little while I "feel in love" with the show and now I watch it every day :D (Just for the record. I'm only 14, so thats why I only just started watching Frasier.)

Since 1998-1999.
My mom watched it on and off and one day I caught a bit of it with her and she kept saying how much of a great show it was.

I know it was around 1998-1999 because sonn Niles and Daphne were together. Then they started showing the show from the beginning

I didn't watch Frasier that much when it was on tv, but I've watched every episode that is out on dvd countless times. I didn't know what I had been missing.

Since last three weeks i guess. I covered nearly first 6 seasons in DVD. as i soon i watched the first episode, i just hooked untill all all 6 seasons. great sitcom, never before i was attracted so much to an english sitcom (i am from India actually)
I did watch some episodes on 2001-2002 period but i was just overwhelmed by high-verbose language of frasier-niles.

anyknow how many sitcoms won more emmys than frasier? 39 is a definitely a big number. Friends bagged around 50 i think.

Bill Roach is a Ken Barlow, not Baldwin, he's been there for 47 years since the show started, and I will never feel ashamed to loving life on the Street. It is a British Champion.
It has drama that matches no other, wit and humour that beats many comedies, but it is never over the top just for impact, and has always been true to itself. I trust it to entertain and it has never let me down. I don't think I can say that about any other show in my 35 years.

The only Life On The Street I watch is Homicide: Life On The Street.

Not the case, actually. Friends should have won more Emmy's, though.

The only thing they didn't steal was the lazy writing, bad acting and super cheap production values.

It's so easy, my first episode was the first episode, "Good son"... oh, Love at first sight!
Remy: [observing what Emile is eating] What is that?
Emile: I don't know
Remy: You dunno... and you're eating it?
Emile: You know, once you muscle your way past the gag reflex, all kinds of possibilities open up.

Twenty-two seasons: he certainly had a good run!

Well not quite 22. He didn't hit Cheers until Season 3. He had 9 Seasons of Cheers and 11 of Frasier! [edited]

Well, 20 is still a lot of years as one character!

Amazingly, KG could actualy beat his own record with his stint as 'Sideshow Bob'. 17 years and counting...

Well, yeah but he's not a regular character as much as Frasier: Bob's like Bebe, one show per season.

Still an amazing stat - 20 years with one character and 17 with another...

I'm sure you're right though, the irregular nature of his appearences probably means Sideshow Bob won't officially beat Frasier Crane and Marshal Matt Dillon as the longest running TV character.

That just made me realise, Dan Castellaneta and other simpsons cast members could break the record all together. Nooo... Just kidding. I hadn't thought about that though.
Wow, between school and basketball, when am I...going to be able to watch Frasier!!! Oh, don't worry I'll make time.

Best rated isn't the best benchmark to prove any points - look at America's top rated shows, too - American Idol and Dancing With Stars  In the UK it's X-Factor - you're both on a loser there

How Long Have I Been Watching Frasier

Postby topcat1987 » Sun Sep 23, 2007 7:15 pm

I seem to remember first watching 'The Ring Cycle' when it premired but wonder who the characters were.My first real taste of Frasier was in the middle of Season 10,which some of you might think was unfournate.I was hooked and I decided that I wanted to see the earlier episodes so I bought Season 1 on DVD,then went off Frasier for a bit, catching a rerun of the finale on New Year's Eve 2004.And from there I bought S2-7 on DVD and thoroughly enjoyed watching some of the more classic episodes.
