Favourite "Frasier" DVD Boxset

I think this has been done before, but...

The idea is to vote for your favourite boxset. Simple.

Think about the actual box, the DVDs and the poses of the main characters, not the episodes.

I chose season 4, because it looks so sophisticated and glamerous. And Jane Leeves looks stunning. :D

PS. As far as I'm aware/at time of writing, no S9/10 boxset has been released.

Just a random question that occurred to me: does anyone know why Bulldog is on the covers of the season 5 and 6 sets, but none of the others? I have a feeling that the answer is simply that they just used publicity shots that looked good and reflected the physical appearance of the characters in the given season rather than a reflection on how important the character of Bulldog was in the season.

That answer would also be consistent with the minimalist amount of effort Paramount have put into these sets overall. However, any other offers or more substantial answers over my admittedly purely speculative theories?

Bulldog was credited as a main cast member in seasons 4-6. He appeared in the cast photo on the back of the season 4 set.

As for the poll question, my favourite box would have to be season 4. It matches the classy tone of the series.

I love the color of the box for S4 but Kelsey looks awful on the front cover so I had to veto it!

David looks bad on S8 but it's the best pic of Kelsey and I also really like the still shots on the back of the box.

Despite a couple of major problems with that box, I voted for it anyway. I don't like the color and the title on the spine falls lower than it does on the other season boxes so it's off kilter on my shelf. But...........Kelsey looking good is the most important!

And I LOVE the color of S9's box. Can't wait to see it on my shelf!

You're right, the season 4 box does overall look great (and I like the menu design of that season better than the others too) but Kelsey does look terrible. A pitbull chewing a wasp anyone?

I think the Season 11 box looks very elegant. Season 6 is tidy, too. I like Season 4 but the print quality of the image on the back cover is woeful.

Season 7 is just like something out of a freak show. I can't even look at the front of that box! It's downright creepy!

Couldn't agree more! It's so out of place, the menus are blood red. It looks more like Seattle Chainsaw Massacre.

season 4 is my favorite box set for many reasons,

it was the first box set i got
jane leeves looks great
eddie looks funny
the menus are goods
and most of my favorite episodes are on the dvds!

S7 menus genuinely look more suited to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The blood red "tint" to the pics is awful!

I do like Season 2's cover, I believe its the one with them under the umbrella, not many people voted for it htough, I know that all of them are great but that one is just my favorite and in the words of Daphne..."I dont Know why"...(saeson one i believe NOT SURE!) I know it the dog therapist and eddies depression if that helps.

I don't like any pictures of Kelsey when his hair is long! Thus, the covers for Seasons 1 and 2 are right out for me!
