PHP files

Postby Dorset Girl » Thu Jul 23, 2009 11:37 am

Weird... several times this morning, when reading or replying to threads, I've been asked to open or save PHP files, such as viewtopic.php . Anyone else had this, or have any idea what's causing it?

I haven't had it myself, but I know what you mean, I've had it on other sites in the past.

Generally it's just a glitch in the way the php files gets handled by the webserver, but it should resolve itself, and should definitely not happen on a regular basis.

If it does, let me know

Niles: Yes. Can I do that?
Frasier: No, you can't!

PHP file niggles tend to occur when the server is not at it's busiest.
Perhaps it needs a little friend to while away the small hours...
