how do you get a picture small enough to use as your avatar?

nevermind! I found out how!

If you're using Picture Manager, just go to "edit" and then you can resize it. Resize it to 80x80 and it will automatically size to the correction proportions. (80xwhatever)

You can also resize it using Paint.
