I can't believe we beat the Steelers. :D A bunch more crazy results around this week. This is shaping up into a strange old season. Anyone have the Cardinals 3-0 at this stage? I thought not

Just finished watching last night's Patriots/Ravens game Great entertainment but what a shambles. The stand-in officials are struggling big time, but neither the coaches or players are helping at all.

The replacement refs are awful. But Belicheat literally getting into a hands on shoving match with one last night was way out of line. It was after the game was over but that doesn't change things. You NEVER touch a ref. NEVER!

Yesterday was a day of crazy in the NFL! Vikings beat the best team in the NFL, the Lions lose in OT due to miscommunication, the Raiders beat the Steelers, the Cards are 3-0 and the Pats are 1-2!

Yep, that was very naughty from Belichick. Should be getting the book thrown at him for that nonsense. I was pleased that the Ravens stole the game at the end :D

Been watching highlights of that game. How many times did Rodgers get sacked. Seemed like dozens. Ropey decisions again, for both sides, culminating in that big call at the end. Mind, i'm surprised GB weren't demolishing the Seahawks, and avoiding the officialdom lottery.

What's the fan view of the officials strike in the States? I gather it's over a pension provision thing rather than a basic higher wage demand?

Rodgers was sacked 8 times in the first half. None in the second half.

The real refs aren't actually on strike. The owners have locked them out. Though it's still a money dispute on both salary and pension. Mostly pension though. I just want the NFL to get them back. At this point I don't care what it takes!

I heard Rodgers blast of the NFL last night. Unfortunately, it'll have certainly fallen on deaf ears, aside from whatever fine he gets

I think we do need fans and players vocally backing the proper officials now to get it all sorted. It's not the fault of the stand-ins - they're doing the best they can - but it's a completely different game for them to control. The season is going to continue as a shambles without the real guys back in place.

Waiting to see if Gene Steratore gets a standing ovation when he trots onto the field.

I'm so glad I finally have the NFL Network!

This game is "the coolest helmets against the dullest helmets!" I love the Ravens uniforms.

I wish I had it. I have to watch TNF online. Comcast makes you buy their most expensive package if you want NFL Network.

It's on the higher digital level of Time Warner. I think it's called "Premium Digital" but I've always had that so I didn't have to upgrade anything. My cable bill is insane though!

A whole bunch of tight games this week. pity ours wasn't one of them. Just watched last night's Giants@Eagles game on Channel4. Bit of a kick in the teeth for Ben. I thought NY had that one at the end.

So, who picked the Texans, Falcons and Cardinals for 4-0 at this stage?

I've also just found out that the BBC have the rights to show the Monday Night Football games live over here for the rest of this season. It's only planned for the 'red button' and the iPlayer, for some bizarre reason, but hopefully they'll shift it to at least BBC2 and BBC HD to save some hassle. Pity it's Cowboys vs Bears this week, as i can't pick between them for who i'd rather see lose :D

Sad isn't it? They're talking very positively about his prognosis. I hope that's not all just talk. Getting leukemia as an adult never seems to turn out well.

 I didn't see that game either. After being on a Cruise and then a week in London I'm looking forward to watching my first few live games of the season, Today and Tomorrow! :)

Mason "Newton" Crosby is one of the best kickers in the NFL and he shanks not one but TWO field goals. The Packers failed to show up for the 2nd half and the Colts won one for Pagano.

The Packers are going to get killed next week if they play like they did in the 2nd half today. The Texans are REALLY good!

Welcome back Ben. Wondered why you hadn't been posting much on here this season. Your lot are doing ok anyway. Shaping up to be a tight division. I just finished watching the Chargers/Saints game. Thought the Saints got the benefit of a fair few calls but i'm happy to see them beat the Chargers.

Channel4 initially had the Browns/Giants final score as 27-14 instead of 27-41. That must have given a few people a scare :D Browns are looking awful.
