Nice relaxing day so far.
Bit of Meat Loaf playing, watched a bit of Ken Dodd for the laughs, practiced my special song for tonight*, walked Scoobie down to my parents, so now taking it easy before tonights gig


* For the last couple of weeks i've been telling people at the pub that an old showbiz pal who's been in showbiz for many years, and used to do a bit of a double act with me is coming to the pub tonight and will do a duet with me.
It's been years since we've worked together or even spoke, so it'll be a pretty special occassion.

Guesses so far have been (and i'm not kidding)..................

Tom Jones.
Paul O Grady.
Jimmy Tarbuck.

Last night's special guest was Henry J Wood (my vent figure)
He has many years experience in the entertainment business. He's over 100 years old.
Did a short bit of chatter then dueted on Mr Gojangles (according to Henry that's the correct title, and he says he should know because he was there when it was written).
Was a good laugh and went down well.
Went on till half 12, so I was able to finish celebrating my birthday and start celebrating my wedding anniversary
