Just so you know most "books" don't start out "Dear Penthouse: You'll NEVER guess what happened to this naughty boy!"

I've learnt that my friends are the kind of friends who will ignore me when I ask for help, but expect me to help them. Fuck it!

much better thanks FJ! Also pretty much true!

I learnt today that a short 3 mile walk is the pouring rain to see a friend is tiring, and when they've decided to go out anyway, interestingly aggressive.

If so, that is really crappy behaviour towards a friend.

Yep but she had to go on a drug run.... That what ya get for being mates with a runner I suppose. She was really apologetic, and she had tried getting hold of me to let me know, and invited me to go with her, but after the million bust in Weymouth a few days ago town is crawling with police saw someone getting done on the way home, so I chose to decline her offer. Even stopped to get snacks so I'm stuck with salted popcorn ewwww!

Oh well another reason for me to ponder why I bother with friends, other than Steve I force myself to socialise, thinking Iay stick to online world from now on like the good old days where I could go two months without going out!

Also learn today that you can get some awesomely rude and funny baby clothes online... Can't wait!

In a situation that is pretty much beyond help, small victories can make you feel really good.

For instance, if your ex-husband's girlfriend is sitting in the car and trying to avoid having any contact with you, it can be quite satisfying to stand next to her on the pavement, watching her studiously reading a receipt to avoid making eye contact with you. If you then keep your ex talking for a while, moving closer and closer until you're right next to and slightly in front of her, where there's no possible way she couldn't realise you were there, it can actually be hilarious to watch her still reading the receipt, and faking an increasingly happy smile.

There comes a point where it just wouldn't be feasible for her to turn around and pretend she hadn't seen you earlier, so the next trick is to suddenly and without warning open her door and say 'hello' in a really cheerful voice. That's when you get the 'deer caught in headlights' look, her mind goes blank and she forgets how to say 'hello' back. After a second or two, she will grin awkwardly, at which point you beam back and shut the door. Then, when they drive off, you can feel safe in the knowledge that she's feeling rather embarrassed.

Yes, situations like that can feel surprisingly satisfying. :)

Correct Kat! Did you see it right away? I'll admit that it took me a while. At first, I saw what I thought was a tiny head/skull just above the actual one.

Today I learnt of you throw Welsh rubber ducks around your room and it hits the ceiling and wakes the child sleeping upstairs you get in a lot of trouble, more trouble when you point out you have never been told not to throw rubber ducks in the house. Only balls, plates, ornaments and tools. Huh?!!
