Today, I learned (from IA) the word 'flirtationship' - more than friends but not a full-on relationship. Me likey. :D

Today I learned that if you're trying to pretend you're fluent in Latin, you should check out that the phrases you find using Google actually do mean what the webpage says they do. That way, you can avoid saying things about breast milk when really you mean ice cream.

Teehee, you could say that! Apologies to people on FB that I've just copied my post above to my status, so you'll see it twice! I feel that this apology is needed considering there's a FB rant happening on another thread.

Embarrassment is the worst feeling ever.

Actually, I already knew that, I just don't learn from my mistakes.

Just sent a message I shouldn't have (not the one to you IA, don't worry!). Excuse me whilst I go and jump off a bridge....

I am constantly sending messages I shouldn't have! and I don't learn either, it's almost like I want to torture myself with embarassment and worry!

Ugh, I just can't.

Maybe if I put it in writing, it won't seem so bad.

No, I can't. Where are those bricks, IA?!

Seriously, wtf... I'm going to check my birth certificate. I am a grown-up, aren't I?!

No, no, don't worry. I've sent another message, which has made it ten times worse now. FFS, someone cut off my internet connection!

Blame it on alcohol, that's what I should do. Even though I haven't had any.

Oh dear... yes. He came online and I thought it would be a good idea to drop him a quick note, following on from our convo on the train yesterday about the weirdest places we'd had sex, to say that actually I hadn't really done it in the office (lie), so please don't give me disciplinary action. He answered, but my paranoid minds says he was pretty uncomfortable with me having sent that message. Add to that the fact that 'disciplinary action' sounds really kinky.

So, how did I choose to try and make this better? I asked if his mate, the other person in the train convo, was single? Seriously, I just did that. Unsurprisingly, he hasn't replied yet.

Fuckity fuckity fuck.

 I don't think it's too bad.
You're just coming clean that you were joking about having sex in the office and asking if his friend is available.

Nothing too bad in that.

Did you like his friend? (reverts to being a teenager by using italics for like and adding a wink)

Okay, yeah, it wasn't too bad, was it? *Tries to convince self that it's okay*

Um, I think I only liked his friend because he was revealing so many secrets about boss, who was squirming quite a lot. He's bound to tell him that I asked if he was single, but that's all right because I'll probably never see the bloke again anyway.
