I think it's been done in a few countries, hasn't it? Not sure if it's made a difference anywhere.

Which somehow reminds me of a completely different piece of legislation - the compulsory charge for carrier bags in Wales. Since its introduction, I've thought it was a good thing. However, apparently not everyone sees it that way. Ex mother-in-law is very pissed off that she used to use carriers as bin liners, but now has to buy more black sacks - she reckons that just as much plastic is being produced as it was before, but that now the supermarkets are getting paid for it. Seems a bit of an illogical jumping to conclusions to me - she's assuming that everyone else is doing the same thing - but I didn't like to argue, what with having just spent a week in her house eating her food, using her petrol an' all...

Yuk, my sister's just announced that she loves me, on Facebook. And she's not even drunk!

Haha, yes she is, that could explain it! Yes, I reciprocated, but I wrote *puke* after it, I just couldn't help myself!

In other news... Keren's just woken up screaming, saying that her cousin trapped a frog under a mug in the garden. I thought she was just dreaming, but she was so insistent that I went outside to have a look... she was right. :x Poor little thing was nearly dried out. It's safe back in the pond now.

To apply for a job in management, you have to be confident that you can manage other people. That in iteself takes a certain amount of ego.

Asked a bloke in Morrisons where the cockporn was today. Meant 'popcorn'. Briefly wanted to die.

FO won't let me type the word 'gonna' unless I put it in inverted commas. If I don't add the commas, it changes it to 'going to'.

You need to cut down on that DG. It's sticky, full of salt and stuffs your mouth so full it prohibits articulate speech...

Just because it tastes nice doesn't mean it's good for you. Must be, what, 6 months since you've had any of the good stuff?

I had an eye on that match this morning. He looked like a doddery old man during the first set and a half. Not sure how he ended up crushing the other guy.

Why do I have boxes and boxes and cupboards and more boxes of stuff that I never use, but feel that I need to keep for some reason? All manner of electrical leads, bottle upon bottle of nail varnish remover (how do I have so many?), games that I keep just in case Keren will like them when she's older, candle holders that haven't been used for years, clothes that no longer fit (should sell them, but never get around to it), cuddly toys, playing cards, stationary, old computer games, ornaments, shoes, CD ROMs and videos with goodness knows what on them, photos in frames, old school work...

I should either use, sell, donate or throw away these items (apart from a very few sentimental things, like old school reports, which I can't really do any of those things with!). Why can I not do this? Why do I just get a box out, look at the contents and then shove it all back in again?!

I could never go on Twitter. I don't see the point of sharing highly personal, boring details of my day with everyone.

Oh - hang on - that's what I do on Facebook. Oops.

Now, if you'll excuse me for a moment, I need a wee.
