Ah well, might have to nab the DVDs instead.

Geldof, Bono and Sting indeed! Is that the best you can do??
Huh?
As I said, I don't buy the tabloids, but if you want to enlighten me to other sanctimoniuos celebrities, then please do so. I assumed these 3 tended to get the most column inches? But then again, I'm normally behind the Times??

Say that to my 18-year-old face, whydon'tcha?

I was lying awake for bloody ages last night trying to think of a couple of celebs, mainly because I couldn't remember their names off-hand, they mean that much to me! I'll offer the following two for starters, though:
Geri Halliwell - celebrity on the wane, became a UN Ambassador giving lectures on women's health issues(!)
Robbie Williams - out of the public eye for a while, did some work for Comic Relief
Did you ever watch Extras?? There was an excellent episode with Chris Martin from Coldplay, where he is filming a charity appeal with Gervais' character and is using every possible means to plug the band's latest album! If comedy sketches are being written around this theme, clearly I'm not alone in my perception.

Scares the shit out of me, they are all deformed with saucepan lid eyes??
Anime porn is even more freakish.
Rodge wrote:So you have a go at me for coming up quickly with 3 obvious names, and yet it takes you all night to come up with your three, who, apart from Geri have done a minor amount compared to the 3 charity gods that I have mentioned??
What exactly was your point?

The first anime film I saw was called... um, now I've started typing, I realise I can't spell it! Er, 'Urotsikodoji', I think. I was about thirteen at the time and it freaked me out. MC will probably come along and correct my spelling now.

Let's just say i was without interweb all day, with no explanation why when i called them up - until they added a new bit to their pre-recorded bit of phone message at the end of the day.
