I'll be downloading that too. It's not like Buffy and Angel got off to amazing starts, so I'll definitely be giving it a chance.

I won't. If I don't like it, not only will I never watch another episode, but I'll refuse to watch anything else written by Joss Whedon ever again. :)

I almost believed that for a second.

Doesn't really have the legs from what I hear. The premise, at it stands, has no legs. And let's not even start on the issues its been having prior to airing.

So, like Cakey and I, have you made yourself a 'Dexter Breakfast' whilst listening to that Rolfe Kent opening theme yet?

Morrissey - Years of Refusal

Haven't listened to it yet but critics are hailing it as his best work since 1994's Vauxhall & I - how many times have I heard that before.

Early Madonna albums that i already own on vinyl somewhere. Can't help thinking of the opening scenes to Reservoir Dogs when listening to it.

First few episodes of the new seasons of Reaper and Breaking Bad.

I'm happy to eat them followed by a large slice of humble pie served with lashings of contrition custard...

The thing is, Alain Whyte, his guitarist from Your Arsenal onwards has said every new release since Vauxhall & I has that 'Your Arsenal/Vauxhall & I' feel to it. Clearly he was wearing earplugs when recording Maladjusted.

I'm so pleased Mozza has actually surpassed expectations this time; so often us loyal fans have been disappointed by the Moz's lack of quality control...

Ahh, I see. :D Well, I suppose R.E.M. are guilty of the same thing. Hell, I suppose most established acts are.

"Contrition custard".. now there's one for the list..!

Definitely. I have to say though, up until the late 90s I'd say Monster was their only blip. After two poor albums at the start of this decade I assumed they were in terminal decline - nice to see that reversed with Accelerate.

Definitely. I like "Reveal" and "Around the Sun" a fair share more than most, but they certainly seemed to lack something. And there wasn't a good rock song between them. At least the otherwise-mediocre "Monster" had "Frequency".

I liked it, but I'm no Prodigy expert, so what sounds good to me may sound undercooked to you..

And to be fair Monster took a while to go stale. I really liked it when I first heard it, it just hasn't aged well at all. ATS isn't bad either really, just not up to the standard we've previously been treated to. I'm really not keen on Reveal though; IOL and Saturn Return are the only standouts for me.

I never liked "Monster" but then again I did first hear it in 2005, on the back of hearing all the IRS-era stuff, Green, Automatic and Out Of Time..

"Reveal" is one I have to be in the mood for. Sometimes it seems as boring as sin, but sometimes I can really get lost in it.

Yep, I'm enjoying it. Certainly a bunch of excellent tracks on there. The first two songs are amazing but have been played to death by just about every tv show that needs loud, catchy backing music for a feature.

I'll give that a go at some point.
