I quite like the show. Is the latest series due to start, or already started, on Paramount?

Is it still riding high in the ratings over in America?

Yeah, cheers. I caught up with repeats of the first two at the weekend and saw one of the two shown last night. I'll probably watch the other one next weekend.

Yeah, it's a lot funnier than I would have thought.

But then, Charlie Sheen is a much more talented comedic actor than I think he gets credit for.

It's very funny, but I haven't really caught up with S3 onwards! It's one of my favourite shows, it's got some really funny lines - especially from Jake.

so lame. feel like im watching an updated growing pains or cosby show
"timmy, this is the birds and the bees"
its so 80's in its wholesomeness.
and yes i know charlies character was into sex etc, but it was always countered by lame , unrelatable values.

Surprised I never commented on this thread. I have always enjoyed the show. I think it's funny. Yes, it's a "one joke" show but it still makes me laugh. I am quite curious to see how they handle it without Sheen.

 Are you sure we're talking about the same show?

It's mostly based around one joke with Charlie Sheen, but it's done very well. I thought Sheen was excellent in it. I can't see anyone replacing him. I have to take off my hat to some of the jokes they manage to fit into such a mainstream, primetime, show

I was wondering that too MC. I certainly wouldn't even come close to calling Two and a Half Men "wholesome". The entire show revolves around Charlie's debauchery!

And it's not like his brother was some voice of reason type to counter Charlie's excesses - Alan was usually just as bad given half a chance  He'd put up a half-hearted argument but then be all "ah screw it".

Wholesome would be way low down on the list of words i'd be associating with it on iMDB. I'd never in a million years have seen the connection with The Cosby Show

 Sort of like Charlie Sheen himself

I can't say i've ever watched the show.
It has, what has got to officially, the worst theme tune EVER!
