No. He wears jumpers knitted by old grannies. That's not bear-punching clothing.

You're obviously new to the bear punching game.

Knitted jumpers are the favoured garb of bear hitters. How do I know?

They are? What's the idea behind that - the bear gets frightened by scary 1980s fashion, closes its eyes in horror and you sneak up on it, and take it unawares?

Hell no! Years and years ago, there was a war. A war between a bear army that wore woollen jumpers, and a bear army that didn't.

This war waged for years (imagine the bears using lasers and stuff, that would be badass) and the naked bears won (their lasers were bigger). Hence, the jumper wearing bears were no more.

The naked bears continue to prosper to this day, but when they see a woollen jumper, memories of their descendants come flooding to them, and they know a fight is on their hands (paws, whatever).

So if you ever see someone wearing a woollen jumper, be sure that they have at one point or another, unleashed the goddamn fury on a bear.

Woah, I never knew that. Keren has a wooly jumper that was knitted by her Great Aunt. She's only worn it once, so that I could take a photo, pretend we loved it and then hide it away in the back of a cupboard forever more.

Have I done a 'bad mother' thing and corrupted her innocent little mind by making her wear it? :(

this has worried me, my friend is having a "Hideous Jumper Party" for her birthday, thankfully there are no bears in Kirkham, I think there were some in Blackpool Zoo last time I went, so if I am horribly killed by a bear I hold 5HR1NK personally responsible

Mr Blobby made a Christmas no. 1 single. For once, I'm ashamed to be British.

Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, with "A Lilith Thanksgiving" playing in the new version of QuickTime. Look at the window---it has no frame or menu bar. Gorgeous.

Fuck yes.

Heh.

It's interesting though, since he still didn't want to come back when I talked to him for about two and a half hours on the phone last year.
