Yeah, thankfully that's about all we've had too. Last Christmas in Swansea our phone line was cut by someone who had a vendetta against Sky TV - they thought it was our Sky lead because it was underneath the dish. He went all down the road and cut everyone's, but he was caught pretty quickly by the police.
The people we used to live next door to though had previously lived in an area of Swansea called Ravenhill, and they'd had some things similar to those Woggle described happening, which is why they moved eventually.
Having said that though, Woggle - is it all bad, or do you actually like living where you do? Some estates can actually have great communities where people know each other well and socialise, even if the crime levels are high.

It's literally just up the road from Blaen-y-Maes, isn't it, which has to be the first or second worst area in Swansea! My work colleague lives there, and she frequently has cars dumped outside her house and torched. She made me laugh the other day - she said there was a car on fire really close to her fence, and she was worried that the fence was going to catch fire. Then she said 'luckily, the brakes melted and it rolled down the hill!' She didn't seem particularly concerned about the people who lived down the hill though.
I know First Cymru had to stop the buses going through Blaen-y at night too, cuz they kept getting bricks chucked through the windows.

I was thinking of Clase. I'd forgotten about Bonymaen: I had to go there for work once, to see a student, so I memorised her address as I wasn't familiar with the area. I knew all the roads I had to take and where to turn. Trouble is - when I got there, I found all the road signs had been nicked, so I didn't have a clue where I was!
