It's great remembering that first moment you got into a band isn't it. I remember listening to Bohemian Rhapsody the first time then going out and buying every Queen album (and VHS video) that HMV had. I ordered everything Muse had done from Amazon the moment I heard Time is Running Out on old much-missed music Channel The Amp. I got majorly into R.E.M. (although I'd always liked them) after hearing Losing My Religion on the radio for the first time. My Smiths moment was There is a Light That Never Goes Out.

My Maiden song was always The Evil That Men Do although I didn't immediately go out and acquire their entire discography as I have done now. I'm loving it - discovering new classics every day! :D

For Muse it was Plug In Baby for me. I went straight out and bought Origins of Symmetry and Showbiz based on that opening riff. Now there's a band that needs to release a gig on blu-ray.

New album is due in a couple or three months isn't it? What do you think of their olympics track? Their most Queen-ish one to date?

First time I heard that it was after the OoS album dropped through my letterbox from Amazon. I stopped listening to music radio in the '90s so missed out on hearing stone cold classics like that one when they charted. The opening riff reminds me a bit of the theme tune to The Saint TV series :D

I'd love to see one of their Wembley gigs released on Blu-Ray. Got a report from Agides a few years back (remember her? ) and she said it was awesome, as you'd expect. I'd love to go myself one day.

Ooh, not heard that yet. I'm going to have to download that tonight. If it's more Queen-ish than United States of Eurasia I'll be amazed :D

 Forty Days - Meat.

The Hang Cool Teddy Bear album didn't really live up to my expectations, but the last album, Hell In A Handbasket is pretty damn great 8-)

Apart from two of the songs being spoiled by guest appearance by rappers Lil John & Chuck D
