I've been scanning old photos from my childhood onto the laptop - I like looking back on them every once in a while and seeing what a cute kid I was. (What happened to me? :lol: )

Great pics. Those bridging cameras can create a decent enough shallow depth of field with the right subject.

Yep, lovely photos, particularly the middle one. The D40 was the first SLR I owned - I loved it.

Yep, lovely photos, particularly the middle one. The D40 was the first SLR I owned - I loved it.

wow thats a seriously impressive pic of the sun , what is it red sky at night , shepards delight . Love how it looks yellow,orange and red .

Lovely, Kat! I was also shooting sunset pics last night - weird to think that we probably had our cameras pointed at the exact same at the exact same time!

Neither's showing for me, Lil. I can view the second one if i right click on the area where the image is meant to be and go to the address, but i can't see the first one at all - just get a message saying the account's protected.


Just done a quick test. Edit your image tag in the second post (John) to use this:
https://p.twimg.com/AtcIV8-CEAIljng.jpg:large
and the pic should show ok.
