 Okay, let's do it! It's chained to the machine next to it, so we'd have to steal that too. Or take some strong wire cutters, I suppose that would be easier!

:D

i was looking at the Star Wars Uncut site today. It made me think - you should really recreate one of the segments in Playmobil.

Despite being a girl geek, I have never seen Star Wars! Well - actually, I saw Episode 1 at the cinema, but it made no sense to me and I can't remember anything about it.

 Depends what's in the machine.
If it's a vending machine, and the vending machine contains Jammy Dodgers, the payoff just got bigger :D

Well, for someone who's been asking for film recommendations, i suggest you get hold of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope as soon as possible. If nowt else, it'll make more sense of a hell of a lot of pop culture references in other films and tv shows :D

Starting with the worst one was probably not a good idea! I agree with MC. Get yourself a copy of Episode IV. Still amazing after all these years.

Okey dokey, will do! And FJ - yes, I'd love that giant figure, but I'd rather have the £800.

Does anyone use photobucket? And is anyone having any problems with the site?

Ta. It's working for me now. None of the images were initially appearing, but after several minutes of it fannying about, it's finally decided to throw up a window of T&Cs that i had to accept to carry on and see/do anything.

Weird. Hooray for fannying about.

That sounded a lot stranger than I meant it to.

Verrry nice! I love night shots. I particularly like the first and second ones - the tower seems to disappear into the clouds, brill. Love the traffic trails in the first one. Also really like all the hustle and bustle in the street shots - great!

Ta. For that traffic trail shot i wanted to do a longer exposure, but i had no tripod with me and so had to just balance the camera on the bridge (with the strap wrapped around my neck) in drizzle and wind - i only risked ten seconds

That makes it even more impressive!

I've tried similar things with varying amounts of success - I was in London one evening with no tripod, and got strange looks for balancing my camera in odd places and taking photos in the rain! Some were okay, others were rubbish.

I had plenty of fails. That's the fun of it. You get a bunch of duff shots for the one that works. :D Certainly the benefit of digital cameras over the days of film.
