A bottle of Amarula - never had it before, but it sounds yummy and calorific.

A much needed new car. A 2001 Lincoln LS, much nicer than my old '97 Cavalier.

A new roof, and it set me back a bob or two.

I hate it when I have to spend tons of money on stuff like that. But it is better than a leaky roof!

Lol. Eventually. We have no snow yet so it would probably be kind of difficult and not real good for the bottoms of the skis!

Are you planning to go some place in Germany or Austria?

Planning on going on the trails in the Kettle Moraine state forest right near my house and in the north woods of Wisconsin where my sister lives. As much as I'd like to ski in Germany or Austria that's a bit too far for me.

A sandwich toaster, a normal toaster (mine broke), some bathroom scales and some new filters for my camera. Now I'm broke.

Whaddya get?

I just picked up a pretty decent lower-end Velbon tripod for my dad. Very sturdy and flexible for a £40 bit of kit. Most of the cheap end ones in Jessops and other stores were pretty flimsy.

That's a good price for a tripod.

I just got some replacements NDs and ND grads as mine have had a few too many encounters with sand! I spent almost £100  on a ten-stopper last year, but actually I prefer the effect the cheaper Cokin filters give.

I recently bought a secondhand wide-angle lens, which I'm loving. :D

Great. I think i'm just going to get some cokin filters to use in hong kong next year. They're excellent bit of kit, especially for the price.

Jealous. I fancy a wide-angle lens to mess about with but i can't really justify the cost at the moment. I love the shots my mate gets out of his 10-22.

A rearview mirror for my car, broke the last one by being awkward and thwacking it with my elbow (don't ask...).
