Well done for having a go at that. :D Mind, people who think it's the worst movie ever made must have limited viewing. It's nowhere near that.

I haven't seen Ishtar but I'm sure it could not be worse than Freddy Got Fingered, Captain Ron or The Avengers (the one based on the TV show, not the super hero one). No movies in the world could be worse than those three.

I'd put The Happening up there with the worst things i've ever seen.

I watched that a week or so ago for the first time. Really liked it. My favorite scene was one where they were all wearing the hoods over their faces. That whole discussion was hysterical.

Star Trek Into Darkness : 7.5/10
Seems to have a had a fair bit of criticism, but i found it enjoyable on the whole and pretty much what i'd expect from the series. Not sure they really needed to tie in the past by making Cumberbatch's character the person they did, but hey ho. Pretty fun action romp.

I still think Pine, Quinto and Urban make a great Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

In the spirit of not tying in the past, why not do away with kirk, spock and Mccoy as well?

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

They added this to Netflix so I finally got round to watching it. Very enjoyable for the most part. Really liked Martin Freeman and seeing Gollum again though the supporting cast were fairy interchangeable. I guess I'm a dwarf racist. Things started off a little slowly, as was to be expected, and the more family friendly tone initially put me off, until I remember that's how Fellowship was to begin with. Presumably the second and third films will take a different direction. The action heavy second half was pure LotR.

8/10.

Premium rush 3/5

Yes the main characters nickname actually is wiley [ as in coyote ] and I think Michael Shannon over hams it a bit but it flys by at such a breakneck speed its hard to hate it!

Super (2010) - 8/10
Good, fun, black comedy, superhero movie in the vein of a low budget Kick Ass. Pretty funny, and even shocking at times.

The Wolverine (2013) - 8.5/10
Pretty damn good right up to the point it degenerated into an unnecessary stock hollywood fighty finale. Nice use of the back story and cultural references.

Kick Ass 2 (2013) - 6.5/10
Twas alright. Nowhere near as good/clever as the first outing, but still some funny moments and nice action sequences. Fun, but with awful parts. Probably would have been better off focussing on Hit Girl.
