I get paid next week so will definatly may see if i pick up the first season cheaply . Although saying that ive had 2 things cancelled by private sellers who go thu amazon recently [ very annoying ] so maybe buying new is the way to go.

Haven't looked at it online lately, but i saw our Asda had S1 on sale for a tenner the other week.

I'm tempted by that, too. It's supposed to be a stunner of a transfer job.

That's out in America already? It's not being released til December 2nd here! I still need to see both parts of it, though. I was hoping they'd do a combo release, with the option of watching 2 films as one. Or maybe it just wouldn't work that way, narratively. I don't know.

It was released here yesterday. I'm not sure if it would work as one film or not. Maybe I'll watch them both back to back and see how it would work.

Swing Vote didn't do so well in the theatre but I really liked it. It was predictable and kind of ridiculous but I still enjoyed it. Of course the fact that it had two of my favorite actors in it didn't hurt.

I hate being so poor these days, because those unkempt bastards at Criterion keep putting out fantastic DVDs that I would love to own.

Bought Sherlock Homes (the Robert Downey, Jr. one) today because it was staring me in the face while I was standing in the checkout line at Best Buy and it was cheap!
