I've just re-appeared from behind my laptop, still clutching my empty bottle of Newcastle Brown.

Oh well, the pain of defeat will come full circle and become the joy of victory in the Champions League! (Ok, a bit far fetched but as Meg said, we are the best placed British team left in the competition!)

I used to admire Jose Mourhino's straight talking, but I'll find it hard to forgive his baiting of the Liverpool crowd during this match.

Oops...just got in a little while ago, (my cuz has left for her home) and saw all these posts, so many of them, on the game, and I guess it wasn't a good result for Liverpool. We had a wonderful brunch, ate too much as usual, had a couple of Bloody Mary's apiece as well, now all I want to do is hit the couch (well, not literally) and take a nap til I have to confront the reality that I have no food in my home...LOL...didn't do any of my chores or errands after all, but had a great time with Allison which is what counts.

Bit late with this obviously but gutted, we should have had a pen in the 1st half too, know many who went to Cardiff. I think we should look on the bright side here though, Stevie G will perhaps reconsider moving to Chelski now - I reckon he will want to make amends for the OG. Have always hated Chelsea and their manager is one arrogant swine, but it was a good game and we've done very well in Cardiff over the last few years, we still hold the record with 7 wins, as well of course as the most league titles won and the 4 European cups - they needed it more than us[:]:-p[/:]
