Niles' atavistic nosebleed...

On "And Frasier Makes Three", after his little white lie about Martin calling Ronee "Lil' cupid" when she's not around, we can see Niles sniffing back while putting his finger under his nose. Yet he's told many many lies between the last time that happened, back in season 1 or 2 and season 11!!! It seems strange, doesn't it? Did they defrost a writer from season 1 and put him back on the job?

Any ideas?

It's much like the way Frasier's stomach issues went away. Though I don't think they ever came back. Maybe they both went into hypnosis and Niles' just wore off!

It happens again in the next ep, "Detour," when he comes down the elevator and lies to Daphne about why he was at Frasier's apartment (my case of oloroso).
